Had this trash can for 3 years when mechanism gave up the ghost. I am glad the new model has 3 C batteries versus old with 4 D. Went to a plastic can for few weeks but missed the sleek design,height and hands free features of this can. I would reccomend.

Touchless trash can

This is was a replacement for one that was three years old. We have been very happy with this can so we replaced with the same. I have have other touchless cans but this has by far been the best. Batteries last a long time, there is no lip on the can making it hard to get the full bags ou, and overall a good buy for the money.

Our new trash can's name is Oscar...lol....we love the motion sensor. Trash can is very well made. It has an inner ring that holds the trash bag in place. We never have a problem with the sensor working. Our only problem is that we have ours in our little pantry and when I close the door the spice rack on the door tends to activate the motion sensor. Very happy with my purchase.

The hands free opening is very convenient, the style is easy to keep clean, and the size is unobtrusive (but holds enough to not need emptying several times a day).
