I have the Scotts lawn app and even though it does recommend the 5 application process which every lawn company also wants to do, last year I used the Triple action then the summer and winterguard products (3 application process) and had a great lawn, maybe my best. I have requested from Scotts, their opinion regarding which they think is better or best? You can't go wrong really unless you get in on your lawn too late.

It appears that the weeds are already losing the battle as they are getting all shrived up. I like the crabgrass protection hope it works! Two out of 3 not bad.

I used Scotts products for years. I found you need to apply exactly as described. Example: If they say apply to a wet surface, you will not get the desired results unless you follow their instructions! The product works great. I am now up in age and pay for maintenance. Plus, I live on 11 acres! Unfortunately, I found you just don't get the same results contracting the work out as if you do it yourself. May I suggest that you talk to someone that uses Scotts products successfully, if you are having problems.

My lawn took a beating last year. I started off with the triple action in late spring, then put the summer guard down. I needed to thicken up the grass, and this did the job and then some.I'll post pics of last years lawn, and the results this year.

Triple Action is working well so far! A couple weeks ago, I first de-thatched the lawn giving me good under-soil exposure, then laid down the Triple Action in accordance with the directions. Now there's no sign of new dandelions and the ones that were present have withered away. Sure, I found a few clumps in the bag, but those easily broke apart with simple hand pressure.

My yard was nothing but weeds when I bought my house. I used Scott's triple action and it was like a miracle! I used it as directed , 2 months apart. Weeds were gone the first year! I got lazy last year and hired it out. Wrong move! They're fired and I'm applying Scott's this year. I recommend this to everyone.

I had crabgrass growing during the summer and found the Triple action used twice last year has repaired the damage from the weeds and prevented many weeds this year. I have used crabgrass control for first feeding. Second feeding I used Triple Action and later again in the fall with great results. I live in Massachusetts.

I put this on my lawn a month and a half ago and I could not be more disappointed. I followed all the directions meticulously and I still I have every lawn issue this stuff says it prevents and my lawn is still discolored in spots. The clover and dandelion is taking over several areas still and now I have bugs. The worst part is that it says I can't reseed or use any other fertilizer for 4 months. Well that's way into summer so my lawn is going to look awful until next year.

Got some and gave to my neighbor to try because I have a dog and wasn't sure it was safe for her. After seeing my neighbors yard I applied it to my own yard and have had good results. I have a lot of clover and other weeds and this stuff really helps to get rid of them. Very happy with results and will put down again in spring.
