When I opened the bag, the product was one solid piece. I was able to cut off a section and break it into smaller pieces using a tool for breaking up ice, then pulverizing it by hand. The setting for the broadcast spreader was too low, but even after incrementally increasing the opening, the product did not dispense properly. Most of the product remained in the spreader. After two frustrating hours I gave up. Although I have been a loyal Scott customer for years, I will buy products from other companies instead.

Applied product in mid May 2019. Picture is of my yard in mid August. Crab/water grass started moving in along with other broadleaf weeds in early August. Had to re-treat yard with additional chemical products to knock down the weeds but couldn't get ahead of it and it crowded out my lawn despite irrigation three times per week. This was all new seeding in 2018 and now looks like I will have to over seed to bring back the lawn. Very disappointed. Lawn in previous years was weed free now I have a mess.

Put this on my lawn this early spring after two mowings. Applied when the grass was wet and we had a big rain storm about 36 hours later that washed it down to the soil. My lawn had two or three dandelions at the time and has none now ever though my neighbors yards have many, many dandelions. The clover, which is what I was trying to get rid of has died off in spectacular fashion and those little purple flowers with the broad leaves have nearly all gone away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy application, no clumps of product.. Had no burn spots even though I spilled some fertilizer when I was filling the spreader. Nice even dark green grass. Appears to minimize clover and weed growth. Best I have used in the last few years.

Applied in early April. Still have crabgrass. Still have clover. Still have dandelion. Did a second application in smaller area that was particularly bad with crabgrass. Didn't seem to do anything. I have used Scotts products for years and always been happy but this triple action is not doing as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use Scotts step 4 program which i love. We have a 2nd home in the upper Peninsula that we don't have the opportunity to use the 4 step as easily , so it was really nice to have an all in one. I would definitely use again !

Documentation is awful. It says it kills listed weeds but the label does not contain the list. I can't find anything in the Scott's website, where the bag says to go. The label also says if using a Scott's rotary spreader to use setting 3.25. I have a Scott's elite and its document says to use setting 4.5. Make up your mind, Scotts. Where is the list of weeds it kill…you know…as required by federal law?

To be brutally honest I thought Scott's fertilizer was priced too high so I-never tried it. So with Covid-19 I shopped local and decided to give this product a shot! It's worth every penny. Best lawn I've every had here in 35 years. Lawn thickened up and grows well. The color is awesome and I had only one dandelion trying to grow. I put this down mid April and the results were incredible. I also used pelitized lime like every year but this new fertilizer Ibought was well worth it.

Applied Triple Action the first week of April and I am already receiving compliments from neighbors. The grass greened up and weeds began to die immediately. I will be using this product again next spring. I also recommend the Scott's app to keep track of lawn care.

Applied several weeks ago. Followed the directions. Lawn greened up nicely however it did nothing to get rid of dandelions, clovers and a ton of other kinds of weeds. I anticipate my yard being taken over by crab grass in the next few weeks since it failed at the dandelions.
