Not recommended

Very light and cheap! Thought it was a great deal and good brand name…. I was so wrong. The tv arrived broken. I returned it and went into physical store and checked each model and ended up going with an LG. Philips, unfortunately, was a big let down. I would not recommend this tv to anyone.

Awesome TV

Great little TV for small spaces. Our bedroom in the motorhome has a small area for a TV. This one fit perfectly in that area. Great picture quality and of course the xbox hooks up easily also. Being lightweight also helps on the load of the motorhome. Great purchase at a great price!

tv great in beginning but...

worked great for 4 months only. noticed it was having like freezing picture, and then sound, and it would also like shut off without any say to or help. was not overheating. no power surges, no bad batteries in remote. outlet and power surge plunged into was ok. so no reason to die. so now I have a brand new tv that will not work,! but it was a good tv to begin with. plus I got it for $70 less then it is now!

NOT A USER FRIENDLY TV WITH A ANTENNA.

If you are going to use this TV with an Antenna. DON'T DO IT. Same Antenna every thing. But the TV just will not bring in the TV channels or keep them. And you have to go to the TV menu every time to change Channels. 0-9 buttons do not exeats. They are not there. You have to have a Cable Box or some other box to change channels with its remote. Yes it is going back. I want a user friendly TV and this one is not.

If you are using an antenna with a 300 ohm twin-lead cable, you need to use a 300-to-75 ohm adapter (not provided) to adapt the twin-lead cable to a connection that is compatible with the TV’s antenna input. The up / down arrows found on your remote will adjust your TV channels. If this does not improve your expereince, please call the Philips Customer Care team at 1-866-309-5962.

Phillips dropped the ball

This seemed like a great choice. I just needed a replacement tv for our bedroom. Nothing huge or fancy. I have a roku so it didnt even need to be a smart tv. My 2 year old tipped over our original tv and broke the screen. So this tv also needed to be easy to mount. Everything was great for a week. Ive had this tv about 6 months now and it freezes so much. Multiple times a day, everyday. There is only a power button on the tv. Dont lose the remote. The sound randomly stops working and you have to restart the whole tv for it to work again. The tv randomly powers off or just goes back to homescreen while you are watching something. I cant say anything about the remote because I bought the Roku voice remote and use that. I definitely regret buying this tv. It seems to really struggle trying to be a smart tv. Phillips did the very bare minimum with this model and it shows. Even for a basic and simple smart tv its pretty bad.

NO HEADPHONE JACK

Picture is good sound is very week and the lack of a headphone Jack was unacceptable unfortunately I was remodeling the bedroom it was bought for and I had it over a month before I opened it so it's to late to return but I will count it has a lost and buy a new tv

Don't Waste Your Money,

I bought this T.V. a little over a year ago, in March 2022. Like one of the other reviews I saw on here recently, the volume on the T.V. started cutting out recently and I have had to unplug it numerous times to get the volume to work. My suggestion, DON'T waste your money on this T.V. Spend a bit more and get a T.V. that will work for more than a year. I'll stay away from Phillips T.V.'s from here on out. Also, when you call the number for response, you can't get anyone to respond.

Great little tv

I wanted to write this review for anyone on the fence between this TV and the cheaper onn TV of the same size. I originally purchased the onn and wasn't that happy with it. Audio wasn't that great and picture isn't as sharp as this one. I took it back and purchased this one. It's $20 more but the Dolby audio and sharper picture are worth it. It's a perfect TV for my kids play room.

Well worth the cost; naturally has some limitation

Very good for the price. Looks fine -- mine came set to low-power setting, which is great for saving electric but the "normal" setting is of course a better picture, e.g., if watching a movie. Another default setting was that turning the set on took me only to the Roku home page, then had to click again to set to Cable Box (or antenna), which was an annoying extra step and extra remote. But turned out you can change that through Settings/System, so now I'm just using my Xfinity remote. I called Support about that, and got clear/helpful feedback. The other thing that was a bit of a disappointment is that there is no DVI input for connecting a computer, and no way from the set itself, even though it's connected to Wifi, to go to an internet page that might have a video you want to see (only can go to established channels or streaming services). I plan to try a DVI-to DVI adaptor to see if that works.

Don't buy it

Waste of money. Have had it less than a year and is constantly freezing up. It will kick you out of what you're watching and restart. I thought maybe it was the internet connection, but all other tv's work fine. Just bought a new tv so this one will be junked. I won't even sell it to anyone because I'd feel bad. Don't buy it, it's garbage.
