Amazing picture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this tv for 3 years now and everyday I'm amazed at how great the picture is. I've owned almost every other tv brand and this looks the best.

The Picture is awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this television after we had a lot of trouble with our previous non-LG set. I was having trouble finding a set with a solid base and not just feet at the far ends of the picture. This set was about the 5th one we looked at and the picture blew us away. Now I have the set on the tv stand and the great picture. The smart tv function was a little awkward to set up and I haven't spent a lot of time reading about it and getting familiar with it, but that will come. I like that Netflix and Amazon buttons are right on the remote.

90% there to a perfect TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research before purchasing this TV, including websites, reviews, magazine reviews, and personal stories of friends. Overall, it's a very good TV if you have something that upconverts to 4k/60fps, then WOW!!! Luckily, my home AV receiver does that, and couldn't be happier. Only wishes - slightly brighter would be nice, and want it to be "neutral" and let any outside sources "color" it. I basically am using this as a huge monitor, I don't want it to play sounds or color the picture at all. While I have it as neutral as I can, there is a slight coloring that it does add. But people that come over and watch at 4k/60fps comment on how much more "real" everything looks than their HDTVs.

New Big Screen TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very excited purchasing the new model LG OLED65. Picture is wonderful, many integrated apps for watching Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube. Really like the set. The only disappointment was the Listening mode. I bought a theater sound system and found out that this Model does not support Dolby Atmos so under sound setting the selection is grey'd out and is not functional under HDMI ARC or optical sound outputs. I have my fingers crossed that LG can fix that with a firmware update sometime in the future.

Fantastic picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've now had my tv a little over a month. The picture quality is unbelievable. I don't think I could ask for anything better. The one negative is the magic remote. It is without a doubt, the worst remote I have ever seen. It takes 10-20 minutes to change stations. I know that sounds crazy and it is .very frustrating.

TV makes you choose between artifacts and stutter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually watch content with LG's TruMotion on a mild setting (Judder 3) to smooth out motion, however this creates unnatural artifacts, including shimmering around moving objects, distortions, tearing, and sometimes outright bizarre mistakes in the image reproduction. Unfortunately, without TruMotion, the TV suffers from horrible stutter. Whereas most TV's hold a picture for 15-20 milliseconds and then transition to the next frame for 25-20 milliseconds, this TV holds each frame for 41 milliseconds and then has a 0 millisecond transition to the next frame. This creates a nonstop jerky or flashing motion instead of the illusion of a fluid moving picture that you see on LED TV's or in the movie theater. I wish LG had an alternative option to fade between frames like a standard TV without their motion processing. Ideally, such a setting would allow users to adjust a slider determining how long they want the frame hold time compared to the frame transition time. If this one feature could be added, I think I would love the TV. As is, I unfortunately cannot recommend it.
