We originally purchased a competitive brand with essentially the same features. The competitive TV was returned due to input format upscaling issues, and the quality of the picture in a dark room. We had a valid comparison for the Samsung, having viewed the competitive unit within hours of the Samsung installation. We were extremely pleased (and surprised) by the great picture quality, in all lighting conditions. This was a great buy at a competitive price.

A bit disappointed that this doesn't offer SlingTv as an app. I have to have an external device such as Amazon Firestick or Roku in order to watch SlingTV. That makes it awkward because Amazon, Netflix, Hulu and everything else is on the tv, but have to go through Amazon to get to Sling? Samsung chat says that it's because SlingTV operators no longer support Samsung TV's. Writing to Sling people now.

This TV is really impressive. I have trusted Samsung for years and it looks like they didn't disappoint again. The TV was very light and easy to mounted. Build is sturdy and sufficient. Set up was so simple. The universal remote is so easy to connect everything. The sound is surprisingly wonderful. I have a sound bar but the standard speakers sounded just as good. For regular viewing and streaming (including pandora) its VERY good. Clear picture, blacks are deep, refresh rate excellent, and the price point was well worth the purchase.

Just purchased this TV today. Cannot believe how easy it was to set up and start watching! Picture is totally amazing - sound excellent. We upgraded our older, smaller Samsung (which we are keeping... love it, wanted something a little bigger). Look forward to many years of watching sports, movies and everyday programs on this beautiful television!!

Bought this TV primarily so I could play PS4. It looks absolutely amazing. The sound quality is great. The apps are simple to use and the interface is very modern. Only downside I've notice so far is the remote. Samsung has chosen a sleek minimalist approach and it doesn't feature any number keys which I'm not a big fan of. Otherwise great TV for a great price.

Have enjoyed this tv for a few days now and it is superb! The picture as you would expect from a UHD TV is outstanding even in harsh daylight, but even more impressive from a TV of this size is the excellent sound! Only negative comment is system setup, using the button on the back of the TV to run initial setup is time consuming. Great product for the price.

I own a Samsung Galaxy S6 and it was on when I started the TV for the first time. The TV initial setup detected my Galaxy S6 and after my approval collected all parameters to connect automatically to my Home Wifi + got my google account. It could not be easier. The features are amazing, re-shuffle of all "smart apps" in order of preference + add your own button like my PC so it is easy to switch source, etc... Netflix and Browser work well. TV speaker are good but combined with a Samsung soundbar, it is really a great piece for entertainment.

Sound and picture are excellent on this TV but accessing settings is tedious and the remote is limited in its functionality. The Apps must be scrolled thru to access as they are in-line, but their relative positions can be customized. The sound quality and level are excellent on this TV. A home theatre stereo need only be hooked up to allow listening pleasure to be more enjoyable. The picture and color quality are also superb and allows standard definition shows to be enjoyable to watch. The remote is simple but limited in its functionality since there aren't separate buttons to access commonly used features. For example, it lacks a "last channel viewed button" and a settings button. The last channel viewed can be "programmed", but this is a multi-step process which seems unnecessary. The remote also lacks a settings button which allows quick access to change sound or picture settings. This is a feature that is accessed often but requires several clicks to do so. The ring feature on the remote around the enter/OK button, which allows you to navigate the screen, is not well defined and the enter button might be pressed instead. The "all channel" feature is convenient as is the mute button. Overall this is a great TV for viewing movies, sports and whatever other programming one enjoys. The functionality of the remote detracts from the value because it lacks buttons to access commonly used menu's.

My family and I have enjoyed the excellent picture on this TV thru all it's inputs. Along with the picture it is an excellent value with the new 4K format that is the next format on the horizon. I recommend this product due to it's quality and value.
