Buy a different one. Water comes out without pressing the lever and it comes out the wrong side without pressing the lever. I picked up the kettle and angled it back because I'd already experienced the unintentional water from the spout. Ended up with boiling water all over my hand and down my arm. I'm writing this review with one hand in cool water. I've never had an electric kettle do this. Do not get this one.

I've never seen a kettle that customizes temperature. But then again, I didn't know that black tea needs a different temperature than green.The aqua color is radical, and I really like the thermos lid. Dash had definitely made the best version of the kettle.

My daughter convinced me to purchase the dash insulated, electric kettle. I had my doubts, but when she said it is equal to my Vitamix, in its quality and performance, I took her advice.It has made coffee making in the morning and much easier process.

love this kettle. It’s so quick as the water is always warm, even when not using the keep warm function, just because of the insulation. I drink tea often during the day and this kettle is night and day different to a normal one due to the insulation.

We drink a lot of hot water and tea in our house so we are in constant need of hot water and this really is the perfect Kettle! This kettle looks and feels very premium and my favorite feature is that it’s insulated and therefore it not only retains hot/cold temps extremely well, its exterior is cool to touch which is extremely important as I have two curious toddlers in the house. The handle is very large which makes it easy to hold and pour and the lid does an excellent job of keeping a tight seal which also helps to prevents any accidental spills and keeps it well insulated. When filled with water to the max line, it will boil 1.7 L of water from 63 F to 212F in about 5 minutes. I will admit, it was a bit louder than I was expecting but what kettle isn’t? The power pad is simple yet elegant which operates with just a touch of a button. I also think it’s clever to provide recommended temperatures for other teas right on the heating plate along with other notes. This is definitely a worthwhile investment if you’re in need of a kettle that not only looks great but functions well with piece of mind (cool to the touch).

This electric kettle save my time. I don't need to go down stairs nor wait for 30 seconds. It takes 5 seconds to make hot water!! What a great kitchen item is this!! It's not too big, so it doesn't take a lot space. Easy to clean up.

Amazing kettle! It tells me what the temp of the water is, and heats it to a pre-programed temp which is totally adjustable. I got it for Christmas and already have used it multiple times for different things.... making coffee in the French Press, making tea, filling boiling water pots to make Christmas Dinner... wonderful!

This kettle has easy buttons that tell you which ones to use for what you can use one for just keeping it warm! For up to eight hours! This cool kettle has all the features you could possibly need and then you find out it has the squeeze buttons on the sides on the top that comes completely off easy for me with artheritis. I think this is a great buy and very portable. Love my new kettle!

It auto shuts off by itself once it boils the water. It keeps the water really hot even after it is turned of for couple of hours. It is well made high quality kettle.
