I have been delighted with this electric kettle. The selectable temp is nice--and found on many kettles these days. What makes this Dash version a standout, is the insulated carafe. :-)Didn't know I needed it until I had it! Sadly, mine gave up the ghost at the two-year mark. :-(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome. You can set the temperature. I’ve used it a handful of times to boil water and then make tea. It heats up fast. We liked it so much we bought another kettle for our Airbnb. I’d recommend to a friend or family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been wanting an insulated electric kettle for some time now. I really think this Dash Insulated Electric Kettle is great. As someone using a kettle for the first time, it seemed a bit overwhelming initially. However, after reading the manual I felt more at ease. The 2 features I like the most would be the auto turn off and the lock stopper on the lid. The auto turn off occurs once it has reached the desired temperature unless you select keep warm. It is something that I don’t have to panic about turning off because it does it for me. The lid/spout has a stopper on top that you squeeze on each side to open up and pour desired liquid in. When you go to put it back you squeeze the sides and it locks in place. The only downside that I encountered with this electric kettle is that to have the liquid come out of the spout you have to tilt the kettle more than 90 degrees. And if you do not secure the stopper in place the steam and/or liquid could burn you. Just be sure the stopper clicks in place.

I am a coffee and tea lover but I am short on time so heating water in the microwave doesn’t work because I usually have to put it in there multiple times to get it hot enough and boiling water on the stove takes too long. This kettle is heaven sent! It heats up super fast and you can even set the temperature you want. A plus for me is that the water stays hot for HOURS!!!! I just love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do cold brew coffee every morning and several times a day. I have an induction stove with a kettle but this heats the water faster. It also keeps the water hot which the kettle did not unless I kept the burner on low. Eventually it would run dry but keep heating. This kettle senses the kettle is dry and turns off. There is a limit as to how long it will keep the water hot but as it says, the kettle is insulated which extends the time. I can set the temp of the water so it doesn’t burn my mouth and can drink my coffee immediately.

I like that you can set it for difficult temperatures depending what you need water for. And it turns off and keeps the water hot at that temperature. It looks good sitting on my counter. I love the color. I highly recommend.

It also heats up very quickly which is also nice. I used to just boil water on the stove but after this I’m never going back.

When I first got this I couldn't figure out the "Stay warm" button. Then I realized it doesn't need one. It is insulated so well it stays warm for a very long time because it insulates so well. I like it so much I bought a second one and brought it to my office.

I love the stainless steel design and love that it doesn't have a huge heating element inside of it. It's amazing that you can set the temperature to the recommended heat for certain things as well.. I have been making the best French press coffee now since I can program it to the optimal temp for coffee! I highly recommend it for anyone who loves to use a kettle.

A very sturdy kettle with thick insulation (adds quite a bit of heft). Keep warm and insulation itself keep water hot for extended periods of time. Would have preferred if the spout was made of stainless like the interior and not plastic as boiling water and plastic runs the risk of leeching microplastics.
