Contacted Westinghouse within hours of delivery to report the issues and got an answering service. Left my information and received an email stating they are very busy and I will experience a prolonged delay in customer service response. So not sure what to do, but take it back to Walmart for a refund. If you buy one make sure you take the engine panel off and inspect the unit for damage!

The igen 4500df was the only generator on the market that had both a remote control and dual fual. Running propane is nice because the exhaust doesn't smell as bad, it keeps the carb clean, and is an easy fual option as I already carry two tanks with my camper. I ran a 30 gal oil free air compressor and an electric grill at the same time showed and it showed I was only using 50% of its compasity.

The iGen4500DF is quiet even under a full load, the remote is so nice, and the dual fuel gives me options. I love it. Westinghouse has thought of it all, and provided everything you need out right of the box. The only thing missing are proper break in instructions; probably because it requires multiple oil changes in those first hours of use. But when I did those oil changes, I knew I was doing the right thing to keep this great inverter running great for years to come. The iGen4500DF is truly the top level Inverter Generator on the market, and with the price, it is a modern marvel. Thank you Westinghouse!

Found the battery beet up from inside the generator. Acid cap broken off. Battery should have been secured with the supplied strap. Fired right up first time but was not vary smoth running. I questioned whether the choke was on still or not? Could not tell. It ran for two hours running my travel trailer ac only. And stalled due to filed plug! I guess that answers that. I wanted a generator that was dual fuel capable, I only plan to run propane fuel on it. I also like the push button and remote start. I was able to start the Westinghouse on propane on the second start. Keep in mind thats at 7,000 feet ASL. If your reading this, just buy it, you wont regret it. I also like the fact that Walmart offers the Affirm payment plan, its super easy and no BS. You know what your paying and there is no penalty for paying it off early!

Pleaze note: The battery does not come plugged in, and directions are not in the Quick Start Guide, but it was easy to look in the booklet table of contents. It is great that it comes with oil to start (don't put in the entire container of oil, it took about 3/4) , and it comes with the propane regulator as well as a cord to directly charge the battery if necessary, although it seems to have a trickle charge to charge the battery while running . Hopefully it well run well for years to come!
