Got this game for the family or just for the kids to play. We had borrowed a version at our library and liked it enough to purchase our own set. Unfortunately, the newer version doesn't come with a sand timer. It's not the same to play with a phone timer unless you download a good visual for the countdown. I don't want the kids to play using my phone so we'll have to buy an egg timer or something which feels like a ridiculous hassle. This is the first time I've seen a game intentionally not include all needed pieces. If you can find the original version, I recommend it!

I have played this game many times with my brother's family since the pandemic and have always enjoyed how hilarious fun and easy it is to play! We have really enjoyed the use of Grok's Love Sad poetry cards where we insert some of the words we have won into empty spots in several different preformed Neanderthal poems. This year I was gifted my very own box but was disappointed to find the poetry cards were missing. I really liked how those made the “Poetry for Neanderthals” game play out the poetry part of it. I would still recommend this game, but am personally missing the Grok cards. ::In gravelly and grunt Neanderthal voice:: “Sad Time”. -Amy

We have had countless hours of playing this with family. Everyone has had a blast! Family friendly.

Great for families with children.

Crazy fun game

Fun clever game

We received this very quick! Kids were excited about the blow up club lol! It’s a great game for anyone really and it’s fun to watch how people react when they can’t say a word and finding ways to explain things!

Myfamily loves this game! Teenagers and adults alike will get a kick out of the simple phrases you have to create using only one syllable words or else you get the caveman club lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone loves the blow-up club and 'bopping' anyone who used a two-sylablle word. Just a lot of general fun!

I bought this game to play with the grandkids when we went to visit them. They really enjoyed playing the game and had fun with the NO stick. Their ages are 9, 10, 12 and 16.
