This is a great set with zero stickers, and great building techniques. Aside from Bowser this is the best buildible character. But it is not perfect. The arms on Mario are built in a way that there are only a few poses you can put them in that they don’t look weird and Mario does look a little small compared to the kart. But this is still an amazing set and I love would definitely recommend it to Lego Mariokart fans

As soon as set was announced, the wife wanted it for her collection. The detail and functionality of the kart, the awesome display stand, the detail of Mario is awesome. She was so happy the eyes were printed on and not stickers. Awesome set, cannot wait to see what is next.

The detail on Mario’s kart is incredible—it looks straight out of the game! The build was super fun and satisfying, and the finished product is super display-worthy. I also love how expressive Mario’s face is and how the wheels and exhaust pipes give it that authentic Mario Kart vibe.

Living in a Mario Kart family, this piece is perfect for our entertainment center display for our living room. It was a blast to build. We even put his smile upside down, and switched his eyes. It was funny to see people's reaction before we put everything back to where it belonged. The only negative criticism I have is that the final build is not very sturdy. A few piece are bound to fall off if I planned to pick it up and hold it regularly. I also wish there was some extra items, banana, blue shell, something...
