It has great support.Within days, my back felt better than it had in a long time. And it has some kind of cooling thing. I tend to get very hot when I sleep, but not on this mattress. What a great find!!

From materials, to design, to craftsmanship, it embodies luxury. It's plush, stable, and supportive. It also comes with conveniently placed handles on the sides that make it extremely easy to move. I also really love the fact it's not white, which can quickly show signs of wear even with a mattress protector. The first time I laid my weary bones upon my newly bequeathed mattress, it felt like my body left the mortal plane and ascended to the stars. It was like sinking into a cloud of hugs and marshmallows. I'm not ashamed to admit that it brought a tear to my eye. (Ok, several tears). Long story short, sleep is my frenemy. I have a connective tissue disorder that causes weak joint connections and severe chronic pain. My joints shift and dislocate easily, especially if I sleep "wrong". In the past, I've woken up more injured than I was before I want to sleep. I love sleep, but it doesn't love me back. In a month of sleeping on this mattress, I have experienced such pain relief that I am not the same person I was prior. My joints feel more stable, my back muscles stopped constantly spasming, and my hips and shoulders no longer feel like they’re collapsing in on themselves. I wake up feeling genuinely rested, which has been nearly impossible for me in the last few years. The pillow-top layer is perfect for side sleeping. It has a memory foam quality that conforms to my body, leaving my shoulders and hips supported without feeling crushed. The layer beneath the pillow top is supportive with great bounce and weight distribution. I never wake when my husband gets up for work, which attests to the quality design. I also love that I never feel too warm, which has been incredible as a very hot sleeper. My only complaint is that I never want to get out of bed!! Serta, you have ruined me for all other beds. This mattress has given me more than a good night of sleep, it has completely changed my life. If you're shopping for a new mattress, look no further than the Serta Perfect Sleeper X. It's worth every penny and then some!! I need a mattress that can support my back but not too firm. This is the perfect one that matches what I need. It supports my back and also makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed.
