[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 month old had struggled with excessive spit up and discomfort during and after small feedings while on the Gentlease formula. Our pediatrician recommended switching to Nutramigen Hypoallergenic as he may have a cow milk protein sensitivity. We did just that and within 48 hours, there was a notable difference in his amount/frequency of spit up, his discomfort level, and volume of milk consumption per feed. My son came home and was breast fed regularly, until week 3, he wasn't sleeping well, crying all day and even in his sleep...had to give him gas drops (simethacone) constantly and it was awful. Finally we worked up the courage to PAY for a can of Nutramigen and OH my was it ever worth it! It took him about a week for us to see a change but its was like we had a new baby,and the Dr wanted us to try him on similac alimentium, so we did! Tried it for 2 days and my son went through more constipation probelms and from then on we decided no more similac for him...Now the Dr wants us to start him on a regular "cows milk formula" and we are very nervous, becaue he has been doing so well on it! Would recommend to any parents who want a not so fussy baby...just give it a few days!

My daughter did fine on the original formula. She has a milk protien allergy as well. Once they added the Enflora she began to have diarrhea, gas and was more fussy and in pain, just like before we started the original nutramigin. Now I cannot buy the original anywhere, we will have to find another alternative.

This product is GREAT if your baby has a dairy allergy or colic. My daughter started using this product after she cried and cried for 3 hours or more a day. Then we noticed blood in her stool. The doctor said she had a milk allergy and we should start her on Nutramigen. I was willing to try anything because my baby was in PAIN. I read all of the reviews on this website, and they were so helpful to me. Then I noticed that most of the reviews were people saying they saw a change in their babies behavior immediatly. However that wasn't the case for my daughter. I want other parents like me to know that it can take atleast 2-3 days(like the label on the can says) before you notice a difference in your babies behavior. However, it DOES work!!!! I love this formula because my baby is no longer screaming in pain. Now, she smiles instead of crying. THANK YOU ENFAMIL!!!

When our baby girl was having major issues with colic (staying up miserable until 2-3 AM), I went to her doctor desperate for anything they could recommend. They sent me home that day with samples of Nutramigen formula and told me to start using it immediately. That's what we did, and within the same day, she was already improving drastically. Within 48 hours (which is what the Nutramigen states based on studies), the colic was gone! She was once again a happy girl! This stuff is a life saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was exclusively breastfeeding until my 3 month old showed she has MSPI. Until all the proteins leave my milk I am giving this formula and pumping. Within 3 feeds I noticed big differences! One of which was that she wasn't super colicky!

I'm using Nutramigen, because the other formula Enfamil Premium Lipil cause my Baby to spit up, later found out my baby had a severe reflux problem, I tried almost every formula and he still was spitting up, then I tried this formula and my baby didn't show to have colic or stomach problems and slept more time than before. Now he's happy and his stools are normal, no diaper rash at all!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I changed my baby's formula since he was really fussy after drinking the formula and he developed skin allergies, gases and he seemed to push all day to poop, after drinking nutrigen things got way better, he poops everyday and don't spend the day pushing, his skin allergy is gone!, the smell is not good but it's for your baby's health, he'll get used to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had started this formula due to a cows milk sensitivity when our son was a couple weeks old and then have tried switching to only breast milk since then and he had such bad gas pain he would just scream and cry from the pain. We put 1oz in his bottles of nutramigen and it helps tremendously and helps with his gas. It is an expensive formula but that is our only complaint so far.
