I conquer with last review. Water gets trapped inside the handles from being washed. Heating causes steam to build in the handles and does/will burn you.

Dishwasher safe, but there's a small hole on handle that fills with water from the dishwasher. My daughter microwaved food and the water came out and burned her.

I love my bowls. I can use them in the microwave, freezer or oven. They can hold a lot too.
