Excellent machine

I love this coffeemaker. Makes a wonderful cup of coffee and piping hot as well. Easy to fill her up w water without having to move the machine forward or sideways to get the water in the tank. Simply take the tank off, fill w water, put it back on the machine and ur done. Does everything it's supposed to do and doesn't take up the whole counter. I just wish it made 12 cups of coffee , it only makes 10. No regrets buying this machine.

Makes Excellent flavored coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading the directions, I made my first pot of coffee with 6 scoops for a full pot. Way too strong. This morning I made it with 4 scoops and it is great. We drink French Roast and the flavor seems to be enhanced. It's easy to use. The carafe doesn't leak when I pour a cup. I do have a problem with it being so tall though. It doesn't fit on my kitchen counter under my cabinets. I have no good place to put it without it sticking out. And the carafe doesn't even hold 10 cups of coffee. I use an oversized mug and hubby uses a thermal mug. Normally we can both get 2 cups each with a 12 cup carafe. This doesn't even give us both a full refill. I do like ice coffee so will be trying that, but haven't yet. And I like the single cup system for when I want just a cup, but haven't tried that yet either. All said, I would recommend this to friends but I would tell them how tall it is. Height might not seem like a big deal, but all of my counter space has cabinets over it. All in all I am pleased.

Delicious coffee

The coffee is very good. I like that you can make one cup at the time and don't need to buy the pods that are so expensive. If you want to make a full pot that's easy too. I like the measuring spoon too. You can try different sizes to see how strong you like your coffee.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT even after 5yrs

Love it, I have had mine for about 5yrs. I have had no problems with the machine. With all the coffee I have made WOW. Great buy. I had to buy a new part, where you put the coffee the toggle switch that tells the machine it is open or closed it keeps telling the machine it closed while brewing so I have to stand there and fool with it till it's done. But for 5yrs it a long time before having to replace apart.

Leaking from filter cup!

Wants me to do "clean" cycle way too often and I use filtered water! 6-7 times when brewing, the coffee has come out of the crack between filter and the slide to stop drip even though it was clearly open all the way and 2 holes in bottom were not blocked by anything! Half my pot of coffee ended up on the counter! Now I just stay close by when I brew. Ridiculous! I could be showering or getting dressed when my old one was brewing. I can't afford to replace it after $80 and 6 months use or I would!

Two coffee makers in less than 1 YR?

Makes coffee fine but... Bought the original in Jan. 2018. First time the clean light came on I ran the cleaning cycle. Used the coffee maker a couple times and the clean light came on again. Ran the cleaning cycle again- same thing happened. Returned the defective unity through the Ninja warranty dept. in Aug. 2018. Had to pay $20 to get a warranty replacement (ridiculous). Clean light came on the replacement coffee maker for the first time in Nov 2018- ran the cleaning cycle... guess what? This one is doing the same exact thing as the first one. For $100 I expect everything the coffee maker to do what it's designed to do- for at least a year or two. Don't waste your money on this- go buy a Cuisinart or Mr. Coffee.

Lasted 4 months

1st ... my wife bought this exact unit at Target, not Sam's. It lasted 4 months despite extensive regular cleaning. It makes 1/2 cup at a time and then shuts off. You have to hit the button 10-15 times to make a pot of coffee. Worked good new. Just doesn't last. Cleaning light ... NOT ON. SAM's should discontinue this product from their offerings.

Good value, good coffee.

Purchased the Ninja as a replacement for a low end Mr. Coffee because the wife was tired of struggling to remove the Mr. Coffee Carafe. (Arthritis) Ninja is easy to work with, disassembles almost completely for cleaning. Operation is intuitive and straight forward. Makes good coffee and I am thrilled with the one cup option. We use less than the recommended amount of coffee as the recommended measure results in "muddy" coffee. 1 less measure solved the problem. Included filters made for a satisfactory test run before running to the store for a full box.

FAIL

****DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY*****This is the worst coffee maker I am sorry I purchased. The first time I called Ninja to complain a bout the coffee pot not brewing a full pot of coffee or even a half of cup, they sent me a new coffee maker at no cost. Which I was happy and pleased about. I thought maybe I just purchased a defected pot the first time. Well unfortunately the 2nd pot had the same issue within 3 months of having it. I called Ninja again to see if they could trade the product out for a cheaper plain coffee pot. Their answer was no and that I would need to pay $21.00 for a new unit. I was upset needles to say. Why would I want to spend more money on another coffee maker only to fail me again.
