Love this Kitchen!

We gave this kitchen to our 17 month old son for Christmas and it was a HUGE hit. He loves it and has played with is constantly. Obviously we can't rate the longevity at this point. It is a great size for him and not too overwhelming to have in the living room/kitchen area.

Good Value for a Little Boy's Kitchen

We purchased this kitchen for my 2 1/2 year old son for Christmas. My husband was able to put the kitchen together within 1 hour. All holes were pre-drilled, all parts were intact, and everything lined up correctly for easy assembly. The doors and drawers open and close easily. The kitchen is cute with neutral decor, but I wish the product had sound features for the microwave, oven, and/or refrigerator (only the phone and stove make sounds). Overall, this was a good value for the money, as our kitchen came in a value bundle with 101 pieces of food for $85 and free shipping site to store. However, if you have a little girl that might use the kitchen for years in the future or have multiple children, I would spring for the Step 2 Lifestyle Party Time Kitchen for $115 instead. It is bigger, so it will last longer, plus it has a clock and a phone, stove, microwave, and oven that make sounds. We opted for this model because my son is an only child and will probably lose interest in a couple years. So far, he really enjoys making mommy and daddy dinner and washing the dishes afterwards!

Love it!

We got this kitchen for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She loves it. She didn't want to open any of her other presents on Christmas morning. Her and her brother are constantly playing with it and asking mommy and daddy what they want to eat. She loves the real features. (The sounds the phone and cookware make.) Easy to put together. Nice and sturdy!

Great Value

I looked all over for a reasonably priced toy kitchen for my toddler son. We are about to have another baby and I wanted something new for him. We wanted something that wouldn't take up alot of space but that had plenty for him to do. It was surprising extremely easy to put together. It came in 4 big pieces and then a bag of smaller pieces and stickers. My husband had it together in an hour even with all the stickers in the right place. I wish a few more things made noise like the microwave. It doesn't come with much as far as accessories but I found a food kit for $10 that should do the trick. We are very happy we got it.

Easy to assemble

I thought it was easy as can be to assemble, although i didnt care to much about putting decals on. My only problem was that it didnt come with the correct amount of screws, The main screw that screw the 2 pieces together were missing. I just used wood screws and it works fine now. I hope my son enjoys it.

great value of Christmas 2010

It is great because it is large enough 3 right now to be able to play together and have blast. The sizzling pan is great, the grandbabie really think they are doing something. The price was unbelieveable to what was available at the store smaller and more money and not all the extra. I scored big time!!!

Perfect size

I was looking for a kitchen that wasn't too large and this was perfect. It has colorful decor stickers. My 3 year old loves it. Especially the sound effects the stove makes. It has a lot of room to store extra food & kitchen accessories. It was also easy to assemble. Walmart's price was the lowest compared to other retailers. I would definately recommend this product.

Excellent Product, except...

This kitchen is excellent for the price. It was not difficult to assemble. My daughter LOVES it and plays with it constantly. It is really cute. Two downfalls are that the "faucet" doesn't move much and you have to push a button to pretend the water is on, and it doesn't come with a spatula/spoon set. In order to get the Step2 spatula/spoon you have to order another entire set of dishes which will cost you an additional $16. Most stores do not carry this set. My overall rating is good. For the price, this is an excellent little kitchen.

Defective

I love the kitchen. It's the perfect size and almost everything I imagined. What I didn't imagine was that it would be missing a part. My kitchen is missing a burner and the burner slot has not been cut out. I was really disappointed after I put it all together then noticed it. I know have to take it apart and send it back. I hope I receive a new one before it's too late. Christmas is right around the corner.

Very nice!

Love the sizzling and boiling sounds- not too loud! Both my toddler and preschooler boys love it- never to early to domesticate a boy!!!! The cabinets and drawers store kitchen supplies nicely. Did the ship to store and I thought the price was very good.
