3-yr. old future chef loves this!!!

My son's grandparents got this for him and he absolutely loves it! He cooks and bakes and feeds his creations to us as well as his dinosaurs and his stuffed animals. He and our 5-yr old neighbor can spend lots of time having fun in the kitchen when you add a little play food to the kitchen. It was very easy to put together, only took about 20-30 minutes.

My 2-year-old daughter absolutely LOVES her new kitchen... This is definately worth the price ($75 when I purchased.) Lots of storage space and my daughter likes the "sizzle" noises the stovetop makes. It was a bit of a pain to assemble though (a couple missing stickers and missing holes that had to be drilled.) Overall, I'd buy it again.

Great Fun for Little Ones

My daughter got this kithcen for her second birthday. We had it all put to together but hidden and gave it to her last. After she got the kitchen she didn't play with any other toy for 2 days. Its very cute and sturdy. The colors are great but alittle more girly. Although my five year old son loves to play it as well.

Perfect Kitchen Set!

Love, love, love this kitchen set! My daughter plays with it every single day! Has enough storage for food, cute sounds when you use the pot on the stove or the pan on the stove, comes with a phone that makes noise, too! Lots of fun and the perfect size for my house and my 3 year old, and she will be able to play with it for years to come, as well. Don't waste your money buying one of the "princess" or character kitchen sets, they break easy and don't last long. This kitchen is tough!

Great Product!

Great product for the price. I researched tonz of kitchens and this one is definitely the best one for the price. I wanted one that wasn't so little baby looking so that my baby could enjoy when she is older as well. I also wanted a kitchen with lots of doors and drawers because they love putting things in and out when they are little more than doing the pretend play. I also liked it because it was really, really easy to assemble. I was to anxious to get it together so my little girl could play with it that I didn't wait for my husband to do it. I did it myself! I talked to a friend while researching for this product and she said that her little girl's kitchen took her husband over 2 hrs to put together. It only took me about 40 minutes! My little girl loves her kitchen and that makes me really happy!

Money Well Spent

This was a Christmas gift for my 2 year old daughter. She spends so much time playing with this. My 7 year daughter also enjoys playing with the kitchen. I had to buy food to go with the kitchen set, but that was not a big deal. This is well worth the money.

Good kitchen

Kids love it...easy to put together...I put it together within 30 minutes by myself with my husbands drill. I COULD NOT have done it without a drill...no way a screwdriver would work for me. Best kitchen for the value....there were more expensive ones but this one works really good. Love the phone and pans that make noise.

Good product once assembled

Good product for my 2 and half year old daughter. My only complaint would be that the assembly instructions were written poorly and some of the pre-drilled holes were not pre-drilled. Had to guess about some of the locations of screws. Also some of the screws are 2 1/2 inch so I would highly recommend using a drill unless you want a workout.

Great toy but hard to put together -no screw holes

**side note about the reviews that say the dishes don't fit in the rack - The dishes do fit, just in a specific order and direction. The bowls fit in the 2 outside slots and the plates fit in the middle slots. Some face out, others face in (there is an indentation where the bottom of the bowl/plate fits.) This is impractical for use by a toddler, but they do fit.** I bought this for my 3 year old for Xmas, and she loves it. There were a few things that disappointed me. First, and most importantly, there were almost no pre-drilled holes for the screws. For a few places there was a hole in the first piece, but not in the second piece that it was supposed to connect to. The instructions say you only need a screwdriver and a power drill is optional, but I would have never been able to put this together myself. My brother ended up coming over to force those screws into the plastic with the screwdriver while i held the pieces together. My second disappointment is that the cups and bowls included have 2 holes each in the bottom of them. This keeps me from giving my daughter actual water in her cups (which was half the fun for me as a kid). Other than those 2 things, the toy was very cute and stable enough for its use. It keeps my daughter occupied for a long time.

Great Value for a Great Kitchen Set

We looked thoroughly at each and every kitchen set before deciding on this one for our daughters for Christmas. We are VERY pleased with our decision! Our daughters (4 and 2) just love this kitchen set. We had debated getting the "walk-in" kitchen set for nearly double the price thinking that perhaps it was better in some way to justify the huge price difference. I'm so glad we didn't go for that one b/c when I saw it displayed in Sam's it was so puny that my 4 year old would have had to duck down to get inside and the 2 of them would've been cramped to play in there at the same time. This kitchen set easily accommodates more than one child playing at a time. My husband assembled it easily in our walk-in closet and didn't report any problems with building it at all. We are missing the frying pan accessory that is supposed to come with it but I'll be contacting Step2 for a replacement. The burner has real life sounds that help to fuel the imagination. Put the pot on the burner and it makes bubbling noises to mimic boiling water. Put the frying pan on the burner, and it makes sizzling noises of frying food! There are plenty of drawers and storage space for all of their kitchen accessories. There is even a silverware drawer to store the plastic cutlery! All in all this kitchen set is a big hit in our house and I am thrilled with the accessories and features of this set at such a reasonable price. We ordered this online at Walmart.com and had it delivered free with their Site to Store delivery option (something that was not offered with all kitchen sets). So it was even more of an outstanding value!! Two little thumbs up (and smiling faces) for this kitchen set!
