I bought this for my two year old niece's birthday. All the kids were excited and joined her in playing with it, from my one year old to her seven year old cousin. The cooking sounds are great and realistic. I am glad I read the reviews ahead of time and brought a cordless drill to help put it together. I'm not sure I could have made the holes with a screwdriver. **You need a tiny Phillips-head screwdriver to install the batteries.** My only complaint it that the stove door didn't stay closed. It was just out of square enough - but my husband folded up a piece of tape and then taped it to the top and it was enough to make it stay closed. So no big deal. I bought extra food because the set doesn't have any and the cookware that I bought was too large. But no one seemed to notice!

We bought this for our granddaughter's 2nd birthday, and she loved it. It was easy to assemble, and even came with an extra bag of hardware. It has plenty of storage, and the frig and oven are big enough to actually put a dish or food in. It is just the right size for a 2-year-old, and should be good for several years. Walmart had great value price - may be different color from the current style.

I bought this play kitchen for my 2 year old grand-daughter for Christmas. I had it shipped Site-to-Store in Texas. Very convenient as I live in Georgia. My son put this together for her and it was easy to assemble. She has not stopped playing with it since she received it. She loves it and the whole family is enjoying watching her with it. I highly recommend this for others in this age group.

I am very happy with this product. It was easy to put together (i just needed help with a couple of screws). It is the perfect size for my daughter. She loves to put the pots on the stove so it makes noise. It is like she is actually cooking. It has a lot of room for all her food and other accessories. She will use it for a long time to come. My neighbor, who is 9, likes to play with it too. I actually wish it was my kitchen.

I bought this for my daughter who is almost 2 and she loves it. She loves "cooking" like mom. Her favorite part of the kitchen right now is the phone, she talks on it for hours. I found this product extremely easy to assemble and was happy to know that it was made in the U.S.A. I've always been happy with the step2 products.

Picking it up was a very good experience, everyone was very helpful. It was easy to put together and has held up well. I would recommend this product to anyone looking a kitchen.

After reading some reviews and looking at lots of play kitchens, I am so glad we went with this one. It was very easy for "Santa" to put together by himself and between the actual assembly and me putting all the stickers on it took maybe an hour. My daughter is almost 18 months old and it's a little tall for her right now, but she will grow into it and have even more fun. She loves the frying & boiling sounds (and they mercifully shut off after a few seconds). Don't forget the batteries and to buy food to go with it! Great product.

This kitchen is a big hit with our daughter, almost 2. We bought it at Christmas and she still plays with it. (We also bought the plastic food separately, which is key. You need not buy separate pots and pans, in my opinion.) The microwave does not have sound effects (a drawback) but the stovetop does. If it had a coffee pot that would be a fantastic addition. But, in short, this is a good value for the money; less than comparable kitchens and doesn't take up too much space in the urban household.

My 2 year old daughter loves this kitchen she got from "Santa". She especially likes the boiling and frying sounds it makes. I like that is is a great size (not too big, not too small) and all the storage it has. My 15 year old son and his friend put it together pretty quickly with no problems - which pleased my husband. Overall, we are extremely pleased with our purchase!

Overall this kitchen is a good value, especially for the price. The "bubbling" stovetop feature and beeping phone create more realistic play for toddlers. The kitchen is also suitable for older babies, as the doors and drawers are easily opened and accessible. My only two complaints are that 1. the assembly instructions could have been more clear and 2. the microwave door scrapes against the top of the "awning" in the kitchen, which makes the product seem more cheaply made than it actually is. I would still recommend this as a starter kitchen for young toddlers or older babies.
