Step 2 kitchen Bundle

This wonderful kitchen bundle was purchased for my 2yr old daughter for a birthday. It was SUPER easy to set up it took us 1/2 hour between my hubby and myself. The bundle comes with 101 pieces of food, this was awesome u get 2-4 pieces of each food item from tacos to cookies to pizza to broccoli and tons of others. My daughter plays with it several times a day and she just turned 2. The sound effects on the stove are wonderful. All I can say is if your thinking of purchasing this Step2 kitchen please do you will not be disappointed. I researched different kitchens for 6 months before deciding on this one and it was a fanastic decision.

Step2 LifeStyle Custom Kitchen

High enough to entertain bigger children too. Good fun and low cooking noises. Many draws and doors. Good colors, not girly so that's suitable for boys too. Boring melodies for the phone but at least not noisy. Need some muscle strengh to assemble, especially to put screws in. Some translation mistakes in the French part of the notice, but this isn't a problem.

Best kitchen! Would buy again!

We LOVE this kitchen! I bought it for my 2 daughters ages 3 and almost 2. They love it and play with it daily! I love the realistic details, the red "granite" counters and the "stainless steel" appliances make it a very attractive addition to their room. The microwave and oven came with stickers as the buttons and stuff, not actual electric sounds. I knew that Step 2 made sounds for them, as we used to have the step 2 deluxe kitchen which did have electric buttons for the microwave and oven. I called step 2 and ordered the electric panels to replace with the stickered panels, since my daughters love to push buttons so much, they arrived and fit perfectly on the kitchen, making it even better. We love the sounds the burner makes too, there is a frying sound, or a boiling sound which the different pans make the different noises when placed on the burner. We always know when the kids get up in the morning because we can hear them "cooking" breakfast for us! I was a little worried that this might be a little small for 2 kids to share together, because we used to have the deluxe kitchen which is a lot bigger. We sold ours when we moved because it was too big for our new apartment. My daughters play with this kitchen much more than they played with the old one, and they do have enough room to play together. I like that it's a lot of kitchen for a smaller space, it still has all the main appliances and it's still very fun! I would say I like this one even more than the deluxe, even though it's smaller. It's a great value too, I used the site to store shipping and saved even more. We're definetly going to keep this around for a long time, and our new baby can play with it one day too.

A Quality Toy

The Lifetstyle Step 2 Kitchen was easy to assemble (not a Zillion parts, only a few easy ones to put together with screw driver). It is quality, durable plastic with all the accessories to provide hours of play. I bought it for a 2 year old and he is having a blast! Only problem is if placed on carpet, needs to be against a wall because it will otherwise tip. Generally, well worth the money.

Cute Kitchen

This is a very cute kitchen. It takes some muscle to put it together, especially on the faucet and refrigerator door. Also some of the holes were missing where the screws were supposed to go. So I'd say it wasn't easy to get it all put together. Also some of the doors don't open easily, not sure if our 2 year old will be able to open/close these when she gets it for Christmas.

Creative Play

I purchased this for Christmas for my 15-month old granddaughter and she absolutely loves it. It's so cute and she's fascinated by the sounds it makes while she cooks in her own little kitchen. It was well worth the price because she will have fun with this for a very long time. Also, my daughter put it together in about an hour and had no problems whatsoever. I can't imagine any young one not liking this product.

Great for little ones

My Hubby is a Chef, so a toy kitchen was a must for Christmas. My little girl is only 21 months old, but she absolutely LOVES it! She can reach all the gadgets and doors. It's nice that is comes with food, utensils, etc. Just enough to play with and entertain a toddler without being overwhelming. Her favorite is the phone and the stove that lights up and makes noise. She also likes "hiding" things in a the drawers, cubbies, baskets, etc. Another bonus, very easy to put together! Even on Christmas Eve, only took us 1 hour or less. Great kitchen for the money ($65)

A Great Product

I bought this kitchen for my 2 year old, and she loves it, but not as much as my 9 year old does!! It is very sturdy, easy to put together (1 hour). I would strongly reccommend spending the extra money and buying Step 2 products, they last way longer than other brands!!

A great bargain!

Bought for my 2 sons ages 20 mos and 4 1/2 and they both enjoy cooking ang serving food to us. Its was a great price at Wal-Mart and used site to store for free shipping. It arrived quickly. It was easy to assemble as we did this on Christmas eve. Bought play food separately that was inexpensive at W-Mart.

Great value but...

This product is a great value at the price, but I purchased it based on another review on this site that indicated you could replace the decal numbers on the microwave and oven with the hardware that beeps when you press the numbers. Unfortunately, Step 2 has stopped selling those replacement parts to customers who purchase the "stripped down" version that WalMart sells. They indicated that they sold so many of those, that they were running out of them for the customers who actually bought the "upgraded" version that comes with that functionality. So...no beeps on the microwave and oven. Still a great deal, and if I bought the "upgraded" version, it would cost $35 more, so I don't think it's worth it to do that. I'm sure my daughter will still love playing with the kitchen regardless.
