Defective

I love the kitchen. It's the perfect size and almost everything I imagined. What I didn't imagine was that it would be missing a part. My kitchen is missing a burner and the burner slot has not been cut out. I was really disappointed after I put it all together then noticed it. I know have to take it apart and send it back. I hope I receive a new one before it's too late. Christmas is right around the corner.

Step2 Kitchen Gets Kudos!

We ordered the Step 2 Kitchen for our Twins. We have boy/girl twins. Thought it would be great for the both of them. We ordered it to be delivered for in-store pick up. It arrived earlier then the guaranteed ship time. Took the Husband almost 1 hour to put everything together including decals. The Twins love it! Its enough for both of them to play with and it really does make some interesting sounds.

Play Kitchen

My daughter just turned 1 (product is safety rated for 2+) but she loves to stir the pan on the stove and put her cup in the ices machine on the refrigerator! She is too short to reach the shelves or the microwave, but she'll grow into it. Very easy to assemble and not too big for a medium sized kitchen. She "cooks" near me and dinner time has become much easier at our house. Kitchen does not come with play food, but you can easily find a set of food (we found ours at Wal-mart).

Worth the money

We purchased this little kitchen for our two small grandsons (ages 2 and 4) who love to cook. They were so excited! The kitchen took about an hour to totally put together including placing of decals. The cooking sounds (ie. water boiling and food frying) are awesome. The boys love it!! It seems to be a well made toy and worth the price. A battery powered screwdriver is helpful to save time in assembly.

Love the kitchen

We are very pleased with the kitchen. My two year old loved it and has not stopped playing with it. It's her favorite Christmas gift. Not only that but her two cousins ages 6 and 8 have had so much fun with it too. They beg their mom to come over and play with it. It certainly encourages creative play. If you are looking for good food or the perfect tea party just come to our house! It was not hard for dad to put together either.

Great basic kitchen

This is a great kitchen. Bought it for our 2 year old boy. Great price on walmart.com. Wish it made more sounds. He didn't understand why some of the buttons didn't work. He has been having a ball with it. Although the experience picking it up from the store was awful.

This is very cute!

I just bought this for my 2 year old daughter for Xmas. I purchased this at my local Walmart today, and just put it together. I am impressed with the quality of this kitchen compared to another that I also looked at while I was there. It was easier than I thought it would be to assemble, my 13 year old son helped me with it, and there were no problems at all. I think the hardest part was putting the stickers on straight. You probably would have an easier time with a power screwdriver, but mine kept dying on me! All in all, a great product for the price! One word of caution, the box it comes in is good sized, and the stockman had a hard time putting it in my compact car! I can't wait for my daughter to see this on Xmas morning!

SO CUTE

This is such cute and sturdy kitchen! I bought this for my son for his 3rd birthday. We were debating on this one or a little cheaper one and i'm so glad we went with this one. The phone really works and the burners make noise and light up when the pot is on it. There is SO much storage too. It the fridge, microwave, oven, brown basket, white cupboard and the little white drawer. We got a fake food basket too and everything fits perfect. Love this. You have to use a drill to put it together. Easy to assemble. Highly recommend.

The perfect little kitchen

I love that kitchen!!! I was telling my husband that if I was a little girl and had that kitchen it would have been like a dream! The design is beautiful. My 2 yr old son is having a blast with it. It is extremely sturdy and designed so that it is totally hazard free! Even my one year is having fun pretending to cook with it! Yes some people have complained about the water not making any sound and the button being just stickers but I believe you get what you pay for. And as a matter of fact I believe I got a bargain on this awesome toy for the kids!!!

Sturdy and easy to put together

After reviewing a lot of play kitchens, I chose this one based on the sturdiness and the price. And I was not/am not disappointed! My twins love it! They can be very rough with their toys, so sturdiness was a big factor. It is small enough not to take up an enormous amount of space, but big enough both kids and their cousin can play with it at the same time. The only thing I was shocked with was that some of the screw holes were not drilled. Directions would say to drill the screws in their appropriate holes and there wouldn't be any. I just made my own, as it is only plastic and not too hard to do. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.
