Step2 Lifestyle Custom Kitchen

I bought this for my daughter's 2nd birthday. It has highly met my expectations. She absolutely loves it. It comes with plates, cups, forks, knives, spoons, and one pot and one pan. I also purchased food. She plays with the kitchen everyday. I love how the burner actually lights up and makes the sound effect after placing a pan on it.

awesome!!!

My kids got a different kitchen as a gift. We ended up returning it because everything was Unassembled and connected together with shard plastic edges. We found this kitchen online and ordered it site to store. It only took about an hour to put together (more due to 2 happy kids climbing over me). I agree that you will need a power screwdriver/drill as some holes are not fully made thru, also a tiny screwdriver for the battery spots. The kids were ecstatic! they have been playing with it all day! definitely worth every penny and the wait! perfect size too...not too small and not too big either. i cant wait til their play food gets here, and i'd like to order them some other dishes! :)

Check your store!

I spent quite a while debating on this and another kitchen set. In the end, I decided to just look at them in the store. To my suprise, I found this exact kitchen set sitting all by itself in the floor with a sticker on it that said $49. It was the ONLY one they had in this style. They didn't even have any of these on the shelf. I was skeptical if that was the correct price or not so I took it to the price checker and double checked. Sure enough, $49!!!! My receipt even showed that I saved $31!! I was so proud of myself for getting such a great deal. I'm not sure why it was on sale. My guess is that maybe they were trying to clear out all of their Christmas overstock. We haven't taken it out of the box yet, as the b-day party is next week. I did cut open the box though and take a peek and it looks to be of VERY good quality and will be no problem putting it together.

Good Value

This is the best kitchen set we found for the price by far. My son, almost 3, and daughter, 1, both play with it (sometimes nicely sometimes not:)) and they love opening and closing the fridge and oven. One of the drawers and the basket both come completely out and the kids try to stand on them so sometimes I put those away. You definitely need to buy food and maybe some additional plates and cups to really make the kitchen feel complete. It also needs to be up against a wall if you have a child that likes to push things over. All in all, I would recommend this product, the plastic is thick and sturdy!

A wonderful interactive play item

I purchased this for my 3 1/2 old grandson because he loves to help his mother in the kitchen. He told his mother that now he has his own kitchen to cook in and will not have to mess up hers. And because it has storage, the small kitchen items will not be laying all over the floor. He called me on his "Kitchen phone" to tell me thank you. I know he will get many hours of fun from it. It was well worth the money and the usual outstanding Step 2 quality.

My Granddaughter Loved It!

My two year old granddaughter loves her kitchen, especially the cooking sounds and the cordless phone. Walmart's price was by far the best and the ship to store option very convenient. The only negative is the assembly of the kitchen. It would be nice if all the places where screws are required had pre-drilled holes. We did not have an electric screwdriver so it took a good hour to get it together. Still, she loves it so much I would highly recommend it.

Daughter loves it...I think it's ok.

We recieved our kitchen from Walmart's Site to Store shipping service. It was fairly easy to assemble, without much time or elbow grease involved. My daughter loves it and will play with it endlessly. We purchased it for her for her 2nd birthday. I, on the other hand, am not totally satisfied with the quality of the product. The faucet seems loose, the "burner" is loose causing the sounds it's supposed to make not work because the batteries keep falling out. Overall, it's super cute and maybe not worth $100.

Good for what you get

This is a great product if you are looking for something small yet has lots of features. My daughter loves it...especially the sound effects it makes when "boiling" or "frying" some play food. It was fairly easy to put together but you definately need an automatic screwdriver. Screwing through multiple levels of plastic with a hand screwdriver doesn't work - and there are no predrilled holes!

Too Cute!

I purchased this for my 14 month old daughter. I used the ship to store option to save on shipping costs and that was a great experience. I will use that option again in the future. With regard to the product; I was pleased. It's the perfect height for my daughter. My husband put it together in an hour. It's very mobile (you can move it from one room to another). My daughter loves it. I put it in her bedroom and everyday she plays with it. The stove makes the sound of boiling water and a sizzle sound when you put the pot/pan on it. She loves that! Good value for your money - for sure!

Excellent Value

My husband and I bought this kitchen for our two year old daughter this Christmas. I did extensive research of several websites and in stores, and this product by far meets my expectations. We are very happy with the Step 2 products, and this is no exception. My daughter loves it, and set up was a breeze. It very easily comes apart to be moved, as well.
