This rug is great for a home with pets and/or kids. It’s more blue burgundy than the picture shows, and definitely is too heavy to wash at home but is washable. I usually buy 8x10 rugs, so 9x12 is a lot more floor coverage than I’m used too. I did struggle a little bit to vacuum at high speed, my Dyson kept stopping as it sucked in part of the rug. I lowered the speed and it kinda helped but with someone with a dog I just wish I can keep my vacuum at high speed. All in all it’s okay since I know I can wash it. My concerns are after washing the ends is it going to curl up on the ends and should I really dry in dryer? I have a runner in the same material and it curls up for a day or two but it’ll settle and flatten down. I dry it outside too, so we will see how that goes. All in all I think it’s great for my home and will save me a lot of money on carpet cleaning.

Rug is wonderful except its almost impossible to vacuum. We have a dyson vacuum and even on the lowest suction you can't vacuum it. The only way we have been able to is by using a small vacuum attachment and it takes forever to do. I would not buy this rug again.

Difficult to vacuum. It gets pulled up into the vacuum cleaner like a small throw rug would. I find that the rug is cute but not as vibrant as I expected. It looks faded. It tends to develop wrinkles that would take a lot of work to smooth out. I don't recommend it and wouldn't buy it again.

When I first felt the surface of this rug, I forgot for a moment that it was a rug! It was so soft that i wanted to roll up in it! Coziness aside, it is a beautiful rug. It really goes with our furniture with the rust and grey tones throughout. It also has a built in rubber backing, so no slippage. This rug is different than what I thought as it did not come in a giant roll for it's 9X12 size but folded like a blanket in a box-very heavy. It does look like it will stand up to a lot of wear and tear.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this rug. The 9'X12' size is huge and just exactly what I needed for my house. The rug itself is very soft and comfortable, and I would highly recommend this washable rug to anyone looking to upgrade a room in their house. I ordered this online and wasn't sure if the color I selected would work, but it is much more beautiful in person and the pattern works perfectly as well.

I have had mine over a year. It's super soft but almost feels like a blanket on the floor. It bunches up so easily by the furniture moving in the slightest, can only be vacuumed by the robot vacuum and you really can't wash it unless you go to the laundry mat with the Jumbo washers. Will get a regular area rug next time.

This rug arrived and looked amazing, at first! I have had it for a few months (9ish) and it has drastically faded. In the photo you can see the color difference where my coffee table sat. It does not hold up and has worn out color and softness and wish I had used the almost $200 spent in a better rug. I guess you get what you pay for. I have smaller ones too and those didn't hold up well either.

Dyson vacuum will not work on it. my sis in law bought the same rug and we loved it because it's so soft but she actually returned it because of her vacuum not working with it. The rug is beautiful and a great size so we tried it and had the same issue - unfortunately I will have to return. I wanted to keep it but won't work with 3 kids and a dog!

It's a beautiful rug, love the colors and pattern. However, it's IMPOSSIBLE to vacuum with our Shark corded vacuum. It sucks the rug up going forward and backwards. We share our home with 3 German Shepherds and I cannot have a rug that cannot be vacuumed. Unless you have a stick vacuum, I do not recommend if you have pets.

The rug is fantastic it's so soft and cleans up really nicely, my toddler dumped white school glue all over it and our regular carpet, the rug was easier to clean. We had an older version that was a nightmare to vacuum when it was on carpet but this newer version vacuums much better with my cordless vacuum on low suction. The rug stays in place on the carpet fairly well with furniture on the edges, but I did end up getting a thin sticky felt pad too keep it from shifting and rippling. They did send us the wrong pattern, but it ended up looking better than the original one we were replacing so it wasn't a big issue. Customer service was helpful in offering a return or replacement but we decided it wasn't needed. To clean it since it's a 9x12 and can't fit it in the washer I found using a portable carpet spot cleaner works great but drying with a towel helps tremendously with drying. I love this rug because spills don't leak through to the floor below, it cleans up so easily (my infant and toddler really put that to rest) even a dried juice juice stain came right out, it's soft on my baby's face, we get tons of compliments on it. The original older version is also amazing and cleans well in the washer since it's smaller 6x9 I think. It looks brand new after each wash and vacuums great when it's on hard surfaces. My only complaint is that it comes folded so there's a lot of creases it doesn't lay flat right away. The creases do steam out well using an iron and damp towel on the back but it did take a couple hours to do the entire rug.
