I recently purchased a 55" Vizio TV and was not too happy with the sound. After checking online reviews, I decided to purchase a sound bar to alleviate the problem. The hookup was quite simple and the resulting sound and volume are exactly what I desire. I found this to be an inexpensive way to upgrade TV audio and highly recommend a sound bar system for all large screen TV's.

Bought this a few days after Christmas to use with an ipod I received as a gift. I wanted something with bluetooth capability that was portable and had built in bass without the need for a subwoofer. Hooked it up in a few minutes and had an instant stereo system for my ipod. Being a music lover and rather pickey about sound, I read about and listened to several soundbars. Great sound for under $100, who knew?

This sound bar is a big improvement over my older smaller one and a great improvement over the TV's speakers. I compared this one with Vizio's smaller one and this one had slightly larger speakers and improved bass sounds. Pros: Good sound and nice bass. it auto detected the input source, you can manually change it but the auto detect was nice. comes on when I turn on my Vizio TV so dont need a different remote to turn it on. now, if you have to have room shaking bass then add a woofer to it Bottom line , this sound bar has great sound at a great price! I like it and would buy it again.

Have had the sound bar installed and functioning for about a week. Love the sound levels-- much better for my failing hearing. Installation was not easy. I had to enlist my grandsons' help and even then, he had to enlist help from Google...I would have never succeeded in installation by myself.

The Vizio 38 inch 2.0 sound bar is a major improvement over the standard speakers included with most TVs. Setup was very straightforward with several input options to choose from (i.e. RCA and digital optical). Since the digital optical input produces the best sound option; next to HDMI (not available), I chose it (3-ft cable included). If you want to enrich the overall sound experience with deeper bass frequencies, the sound bar includes a single RCA output for a subwoofer. I added the Monoprice 8 inch 60-Watt subwoofer, which yielded an extremely satisfying audio experience.

I found this cheaper on Walmart.com than on Amazon, Best Buy, etc by $30 (130 vs 100) Shipped ultra-quick. I think I was given an estimate ETA of 5-7 days but it came within 2-3 days. Setup was easy, it came with all the cords necessary. Not all products do, by the way. I bought this for my tech-deficient parents on their large LCD TV so they can immerse themselves further into the realms of American Idol and The Voice. Mom has been bumping to Youtube on it as well (via the easy bluetooth link). Overall great low-range sound bar. Would sound better with a sub-woofer, but it was obviously my decision to opt out.

I had some trouble getting the optical cable into my tv. I love that the unit turns itself on when I turn my tv on. This solved my issue that my tv sounds wasn't all that great. Sometimes I get really confused with how to change from tv to music on my phone via bluetooth, and then back to tv. There is no indication on the system as to what unit is active at a particular moment. I just keep clicking until I finally get sound.

I purchase the vizio (sb3820-c6) December 6,2016 pick it up next day very simple to install on the wall . very powerful sound bar especially with the addition of a subwoofer. Having Bluetooth is a big plus. the price was right and I love it.And you will too. thanks

I was supposed to get a new sounds bar but instead was sent a refurbished bar which already distorts when deeper basses play. The day I ordered the bar the page did not indicate "refurbished" but after it arrived marked refurbished I checked the page and it had changed. I think they listed it wrong and instead of honoring the original agreement just sent a used one. I didn't feel like sending it back our messing with contacting the seller so I don't know what response I would have gotten but I wasn't looking for a refurbished product. I will take screenshots of the product page in the future when I make a purchase.

I now have 2 each of the VIZEO 2.0ch 38" soundbars, optically driven by Vizeo TVs with TruVolume and TruSurrond enabled, and Vizeo remote enabled...all work great! One of the 2.0s is connected to a 55" Vizeo which also has a ONKYO HT-S580 5.1ch Home Theatre System used for DVD viewing, and to my surprise the Vizeo 2.0ch is almost as good as the 5.1ch Onkyo. A great addition to the existing TV speaker system, allows TV volume to be set around 10-12 which keeps from overdriving the speakers.
