I think it puts out a good sound..for me it does anyway..if people are looking for alot of bass though, they should most likely purchase a soundbar that has a sub woofer (the vizio bar that cost more).which i may get next time..i think it has the right amount of everything..i did have it up a little loud that it was vibrating and liked to fell of the shelf..everyone has different taste in sound..this is just my opinion..right now my tv volume is on 7 and the sound bar has maybe 6 lights lit up and i can hear it very well.which i also have the tvol and tshd thats on the soundbar on also..which does extremely well

I wanted something to supplement the regular TV sound while I watch movies. Since I had a bit of a limited budget I wanted to get a good sound bar that would carry both the sound and the intensity of the sound. In other words, I wanted explosions to be impressive but have enough softness to allow low-volume intimate talk to be equally well heard. So far, the Vizio 38" is fitting my needs pretty well. The overall size and appearance are very good. Likewise, the materials that are used seem to be good quality and the sound bar feels like it will be strong and secure. If you are like me, then you are not an expert in sound quality other than you know what you like. With the Vizio bar I get enough options to allow me to select from different quality/sound levels, and when blended with the TV's options I seem to be able to get just the right sound for about any movie I watch. Long and short it, for under $100 this is a good choice. I think a less expensive unit -- which would likely mean a smaller soundbar as well -- would only give me part of the sound quality I wanted. Given that I have a 55" Samsung SUHD I can say that this sound bar not only looks good in front of the TV but also gives me a good quality sound that matches well with the format and watching choices.

Added this to a Vizio TV, so setup was a breeze. However, the 3 sound input options ensure that almost every unit should be compatible and easy to use. The sound bar is low-profile, so placing on a mantle just below the TV worked out well and looks great.

The ease of connecting this sound bar s amazing. The sound is awesome. The Bluetooth connectivity is very simple. I recommend this.

This Sound Bar came at a good price and was very easy to mount and connect. The audio output is very clear. A must buy.

If you like boom (bass) then this is not for you. But if you just want a clear and awesome sound for a great price then you really need to get this!

I didn't want a sub-woofer, so this sound bar works well enough to turn off the rear speakers on my Vizio TV. It was a good value at $77.

Nice sound bar with good sound, comes with all wires and acc. to hook up to tv. It's a great addition to any tv.

Love this product. Mounted on top of my Vizio M60. Sounds great. Works great. Be sure to set it up right or it will come on full volume.

The sound quality of this sound bar is exceptional. The bass it produces almost rivals my 200 watt 10" sub. And is very easy to hook up.
