I had some old, first generation surround-sound speaker system that was pretty much obsolete (pre-optical connectors), so I needed something that would enable me to hear quality sound from regular TV as well as DVD's and video games. The Vizio 2.0 is a major improvement from the normal TV speakers, but not what I'm used to. Don't let that discourage you...I knew there was no way this was going to match my previous 5 speaker / subwoofer system, but it does the job. If you want to improve what comes out of your TV, by all means get this soundbar. But if you're expecting theater quality sound for 100 bucks, you're not going to get it. Overall, the soundbar is aesthetically appealing, nice and sturdy...easy to set up and the controls are simple enough. I'm satisfied for now.

I bought it to replace my old home-theater unit (after it broke). The set up was easy and the Bluetooth functionality allows me to connect my tables, cell phones and computer without cables. I'm not an expert, but the I like the sound quality with no distortion. I haven't even reach half of the volume level and it is enough to fill my whole living room with a good sound.

I got this sound bar to add to my TV in my bedroom. I love it. The sound is crisp and plenty for the master bedroom. The Bluetooth is awesome for playing music as I get ready for work or just relaxing. The sound bar was very easy to hook up and mount and I will have the flexibility to move it into any area of the house to play Bluetooth music. I would recommend this to anyone looking for great sound for around 100.

We use to have to have our tv up quite a bit to be able to hear it because of the tv speakers being behind the tv. When I set up the sound bar we have been able to turn the tv down and it is clearer and easy to hear. The setup was easy. The only part that wasn't real clear was where to plug into the tv but there isn't much they can do to make that clearer. I just looked up the audio out from the tv manual and once I found out which spot that was it was VERY SIMPLE!!! I love this sound bar and highly recommend it. I am going to get a smaller one for a smaller tv that we have in a bedroom.

Easy to install and a pleasure to use. With only the tiny speakers built-in to the TV, I had trouble hearing some dialog in some TV shows and even some DVD and BluRay movies. With this sound bar, I can adjust the sound to suit the source and never miss another word of dialog. The bar matches the TV nicely and the remote is a breeze.

I like to watch movies on my home computer. Also music stored on my PC. I have this soundbar hooked up to my PC replaceing those standard PC speakers. I am a little hard of hearing, and the clarity is amazing! I can really enjoy the music and movies on my PC now.

I bought this to replace one exactly like it that worked for 3 years. It paired properly and worked great For about 30 minutes. Then just died. I have re set, unplugged and everything the manual says. I even did a factory reset, all to no avail. D E A D !

Amazing sound: depth, clarity, tonal adjustment, and total volume. I was considering hooking up my powered bass box to it, but absolutely no need. Was so well pleased with this unit , I bought a second one for winter quarters. Bluetooth connects quickly every time. Wall mounting is simple.

This sound bar is a good value, but definitely needs a sub-woofer for real bass sounds. I already had a sub-woofer so for me-no problem. Unit has a optical digital input for better sound, and a sub-woofer output for powered speakers. Easy to set-up. Remote has buttons for SRS type processing for spatial sound. Without a sub-woofer, I would not recommend it, although it is much better than TV speakers.
