Good sound bar for the price.

I have used this sound bar for a couple of weeks and it has performed to our satisfaction. It does not produce a large volume but is adequate for our room. I have also used it with my iphone via Bluetooth and it worked well. I am able to use my Comcast controller with it but the controller doesn't always get it turned on or off when I push 'all on'. Also, I have to push the 'aux' button to adjust the volume. Maybe I haven't found the correct setup on the controller yet. Overall I have been pleased with this purchase.

Big Bang for the Buck!

Good looks, decent bass, good solid volume before noticeable distortion, easy to link via Bluetooth to an Ipad. All in all a VERY good product for the price. That said, don't expect incredibly accurate high end nor house shaking lows, but a great product for background music or cooking music in the kitchen where we have it. Oh yeah...NO IDEA about the TV thing.

5 stars for what it is .

It works, does everything that it claimed to do, and was under $100. No, it's not a Bose surround, but you get what you pay for. The main reason I got it was for the sound control, and some enhancement over the sound that came with the TV itself. I personally think it's a scam that TV manufacturers don't put better sound in their product, because the cost would be minimal. But look around and the manufacturers of a lot of the sound bars, lo and behold they are TV manufacturers. I works wonderfully with my $600 Samsung plasma TV. I recommend it for anyone looking for a $100 sound bar.

great sound for the price

I read different reviews on different sounds bars all over the web. I finally decided on this due to the fact that i had a vizio tv as well. I decided to go with this without the subwoofer because my living room isn't too big and so the sound quality was actually superb. I was definately surprised because I normally get sony product but for the price this was a lot cheaper than a lot of the other name brand sound bar. Setup wasn't too bad, switching to the right sound source could be confusing but make sure you plug the right audio wire (included) and read the manual. All in all I'm glad i made a sound decision.

Buy it. Thank me later.

I used optical cable to connect to the TV. Sound quality is very detailed for this reasonably-priced sound bar. You can also use connect to your TV using bluetooth. 100 dB, minor sound distortion, and ability to stream your favorite Pandora/iHeartRadio Internet radio stations is a great feature. You can also add a subwoofer through audio cable to give that thumping bass.

Amazing!

I like to watch movies on my home computer. Also music stored on my PC. I have this soundbar hooked up to my PC replaceing those standard PC speakers. I am a little hard of hearing, and the clarity is amazing! I can really enjoy the music and movies on my PC now.

Very good sound output

the sound at low and moderate levels is excellent; didn't try any loud level. I continue to be impressed with Vizio products. After reading the Quick Start Guide it took about 10 minutes to install and get sound from the TV. We have cable, so it is necessary to connect the sound bar with the cable box. I used the single coaxial digital cable that is included with the sound bar. Connecting the red and white cables to the TV and then to the sound bar did not work. The instructions are brief and assume that all of us are highly knowledgeable about these electronic devices; trial and error is usually my approach.

works great, easy set up, looks good

My wife and I are in our 70s and could not hear the sound clear from our TV, [Speakers in back of set] This sound bar works great we can hear the voices better with out the music drownding out every thing. The only thing we didnt like was the very small control lights in the conor.

Great price but fell short

Easy setup, but I was getting delayed feedback. My older Plasma HDTV does not have an optical cable so I had to use the regular AV (Red/White). Also, since there is no on screen display, it was a bit difficult to see the lights when setting treble/bass. Overall, not for me.

Improvement

I had some old, first generation surround-sound speaker system that was pretty much obsolete (pre-optical connectors), so I needed something that would enable me to hear quality sound from regular TV as well as DVD's and video games. The Vizio 2.0 is a major improvement from the normal TV speakers, but not what I'm used to. Don't let that discourage you...I knew there was no way this was going to match my previous 5 speaker / subwoofer system, but it does the job. If you want to improve what comes out of your TV, by all means get this soundbar. But if you're expecting theater quality sound for 100 bucks, you're not going to get it. Overall, the soundbar is aesthetically appealing, nice and sturdy...easy to set up and the controls are simple enough. I'm satisfied for now.
