I've been looking for an affordable pool slide like this for years, and was so excited to see this at Sam's. A professionally installed one for thousands of dollars was not in our budget. I'm a 48 year old woman with a sore back and was able to assemble it myself with no drill and a couple of challenges. I ended up putting the pieces together first and then adding the screws and bolts, which was different from the instructions. It came out great though, and all the kids love it!! There is no way I'm going to anchor it into our cement however. We live in Michigan and will need to move it to the garage before winter. Thankfully it's plenty stable without the anchors. If only they designed it so you could fill the base with water like they do the pool basketball hoops - that would be amazing!

It's a great slide! Provides an amazing option for someone who has a pool and wants to get a slide for the kids but doesn't want to pay thousands to install a massive structure, and/or doesn't have the space. It is easy to assemble and is very sturdy. My kids love it!

We love this slide!! It is such a great addition to our pool at an affordable price! So far kids 4-18 have used it and loved it! My husband attached the slide tubing to the pool jet and so it just recirculates the pool water…no hose in the way and to turn off and on! We highly recommend this slide! As of yet we have not drilled it into deck. It is very sturdy and want to see if we like the placement.

I've been looking for a compact, reasonably-priced slide for years. I don't have a lot of room around my pool and most slides took up too much room and were thousands of dollars. This is compact, sturdy, and my grandchildren are loving it. People up to 225 pounds can use it. Worth every penny!

I am very happy with my Step2 slide, but it did take quite an effort to get it installed. Some suggestions: 1) Read the instructions very carefully 2) Be very careful to measure and drill the anchors EXACTLY where they need to be. I am 78 and weigh about 170# and have gone down it. . . hit the bottom with my feet. My 4 year old granddaughter went down it (reluctantly at first due to how high I mounted it), but loves it now. Watch the video. . . The thing I was most worried about proved to be a non-issue. . . neither the slide nor the railings get hot in the Arizona 100+ degree sun. . . don't know how Step2 does that!

So far, best addition to our pool! The munchkins love it. Very sturdy, hopefully many years of fun to be had.

I gave 4 stars because the holes in the base on both ends did not match up. My husband used a big drill bit to widen them, and then we used washers. That seems to be working fine. It did take two people to put it together. We have had it for a month now and the grandkids love it. We did not bolt it to our patio. I did not want the holes. It is plenty sturdy enough. So far so good.

The slide itself is great—smooth, fun, and well-designed. However, the stairs are a significant concern. They are unexpectedly thin and collapse when stepped on, creating a safety hazard. This was disappointing, as I anticipated a sturdier build. Given the risk involved, I am uncertain whether we will be keeping it. I strongly urge the manufacturer to address this issue to improve the overall safety and usability of the product.

The slide looks great, however, it’s not the smoothest ride at the bottom.It almost feels like a slight bump. And the steps are not very sturdy/secure. Weight capacity is 225lb. And kids just over 100lbs I can see a dip in the steps as they climb the slide. Especially the second step from the bottom.
