i bought this as a Christmas present for our 7 yr old grandson. Within 3 months the pole became Unstable and listed. loosely at a 45degree angle. I kept tightening the base bolts at the base until the were extended past the base bottom. This made the base even more unstable. I had to shorten the bolts by cutting them. The only children using this were 7/8 yr olds and grandpa. The base had 220 lbs. of dry sand. I'd place a picture but it times out.

I purchased this about 2 months ago for something to keep the kids busy and active outdoors during the summer. I was surprised with how study the base is when playing and don't notice any wobble of the pole, even with the hardest hits on the ball. I just hope I can keep my undefeated status as the kids grow up. I expect years of reliable use from the tetherball set.

As soon as the tetherball system arrived my husband put it together with ease. The stabilizer kit works great and the base is incredibly sturdy when filled with water. My 2 children (ages 5 and 7) have a blast plus my husband and I have been able to play against each other not worrying about our strength. This is great for our distance learning physical education and just any time fun. We have already had neighbors compliment it when we play in the front yard. Incredibly impressed with how heavy duty the tetherball system is and I can’t wait to play for years to come.

We purchased this tetherball set two years ago, I called asking for replacement parts for the cap that holds the tetherball on. They did all the work for me finding the parts and making sure they were the right ones, then informed me there would be no charge! Definitely the kind of company you will want to buy from!!

I got this for my three children ages 8,9,9 and they are pretty hard on it but this product has held up and is still going. If looking for one this is a great buy.

I bought my tetherball 2 years ago for a family party and we've used it every summer! Both the adults and kids in our family love it. It's easy to store in the winter and simple to get ready in the summer. I highly recommend this product.

Easy enough to put together, but it doesn't stay together very well. it should come with locking nuts or some Loctite, because everything on it comes loose after about a day of play.

on the one hand, the most sturdy tetherball set of the half-dozen i've ever bought! but on the other, the strap on the ball that attaches it to the cord that attaches to the pole frayed and tore after less than a full week of steady usage

I bought this several years ago for my three active granddaughters and they love it! It is still in great shape! It can be moved easily to the patio or grass. Grandma and Grandpa even play occasionally.

We leave the ball out year round and no signs of weather damage. We put sand in the bottom so it wouldn't freeze in the winter. Great addition to our backyard playground!
