Satisfied customers

We bought this to replace a soft top that had worn out. We are both on our 60s and we're able to assemble this gazebo by ourselves. Not easy but doable.

Live out there now!

We bought this in May and have loved inviting family and friends to join us in our new outdoor space. You do need four people to help with setting the roof on the posts.

Great Product

Just finished putting this gazebo together. It is a very sturdy product and well manufactured. It was packaged very well to eliminate any shipping damage. I am very pleased in every way.

defective parts

The box had most of the hardware scattered throughout the box. Several parts were bent and damaged, but I was able to pound them out and straighten the bent panels. However 2 major components were defective because they were missing a crucial threaded insert and there was no way to easily attach one part to the part that was missing the threaded inserts.

Great purchase

The parts are all labeled and grouped by steps. This made for painless assembly. The only hard part was lifting it to the poles. You must have 4 strong adults or creative thinking! The gazebo survived a pretty bad Denver hail storm without a mark or damage. I recommend this product!

Gazebo

This gazebo is very sturdy. It takes a while to assemble. It takes at least 3 or 4 people to get it done. We like finally having shade on our deck. We looked at others but decided this one was best. I prefer the metal roof. We like to sit outside and listen to a gentle rain. This was a much cheaper option than putting a roof over our deck.

WOW - This is built well, it will last years!

I went to local stores and noticed that this Sam's Club Gazebo was the best. Not only does it look fantastic with the design on the sides and beams that hold the posts up - its built well with lots of welding in the right places. I constructed this on a really tight 2nd story deck overlooking the lake. When it came time to lift the hardtop that had to be constructed first, I hired a moving company to lift it - that way I don't owe anyone any favors or have to worry about people suffering injuries! It cost me $100 to have that piece of mind. I also bought a gas fireplace so I can go out and enjoy this in the cooler weather. This will surely change my life for the better.

Missing piece and unable to complete

This is the worst experience I have ever had. So we were given 1 extra piece of the roof and we are missing 1 piece. We spent a day assembling this and now it has a big hole. First I called the missing parts phone line and the company told us we had to contact Sams Club. I called Sams club online and I had to keep calling back (this went on for 2-3 weeks) because they would not give me a response. Finally today I receive a response saying that this vendor is out of stock and we can return it for a refund (or keep it and get a whole 10% off, whopty do). I am not going to spend another day taking this apart to return it. This is absolutely ridiculous and terrible customer service. I am so disappointed in this product and company.

Good quality materials, but get some help!

I would love to know how other people assembled this gazebo! The first bullet point says, "6 to 8 people are needed." I don't have that big of a family nor that many people I want to owe favors back to! My suggestion would be when you pick the gazebo up, have some help to get it in the truck and to unload at home. Then, go buy a couple of 8-10 foot long 2x8's and then go rent a couple of material lifts. I'm fairly healthy, but I'm not about to assemble this thing flat on the ground! Use the lifts to get it about waist high and put it together. After my 30something son and I bolted the legs on I CANNOT imagine have 6-8 other people holding this thing up, over their heads, while we go, "Hang on, I've almost got this bolt in. Go that way a little, no, back this way, let it down a bit, there we go. Now, just 7 more!" You have to be kidding me! Get a couple of lifts, makes life easier, and safer! BTW, we put the roof on it while waist high on the lifts and then raised it up to put the legs on. Again, I can't imagine how anyone would put the top bolts in the roof once it was up off the ground. You'd have to have a cherry picker to get to it. However, once up, and anchored (I used their anchors--all 4 per leg), it appears to be quite sturdy. A wind storm got our last fabric/frame gazebo and hoping this one will be a survivor! Also ran a length of electrical wire up the inside of the leg closest to the house to install a switch and couple of outlets in the corners for lights, fan, radio, etc. Very nice, but you gotta get some help!

Looks great!

The gazebo is very sturdy and attractive. My only complaint is that the netting is junk. Within two mins of being put together two different straps ripped and will now need to be fixed. So I would say the netting will not last long. But the gazebo itself I love!
