It gets the job done and is a good product at a great price. We have been using it on our walkways and parking lots for years.

Why is this product, bothering my dogs feet. I pay good money to have pet friendly ice melt. But yet I have to wipe his paws off every time he comes in doors. He limps around tell I grab a towel to clean him off.

Product works almost instantly, even at super low temps, lasts and doesnot leave permanent stains on floors or cloths! Great value too..... nearly the cheapest price of all walk melts/salts and the lowest of any cloride mixes.

Not quite as low temperature or fast acting as pure calcium chloride pellets, but much less expensive. One Bag lasted me all winter. Great for regular cement and doesn't seem to kill the grass when used sparingly. Don't use on precast concrete.

Our first load was pure calcium chloride in buckets, and when we went to reorder, you only had the calcium chloride blend in bags- which essentially is nothing more than rock salt.
