Very nice and only $750.00 easy to put wheels and handle on about 20 minutes with opening box and ready to run , nice you included a funnel that works for eng. oil. Only ran to test.no vibrations and quieter than old Coleman pro 5000 and good voltage.

As a homeowner, I am thrilled to have the generac generator. It was really easy to set up and it starts so easily with the electric start. Having a quiet muffler was also important to me. It' a convenient size to store in my garage and pull outside as needed to use.

Took unit right out of the box, added gas and oil and one pull, started right up. Had plenty of power to power up what I needed. Ran it for six hours straight. Saved my contents in fridge, freezer and keep my sump pump running. Wife asked if it could run the coffee maker. Yep it did. Well worth the purchase price!

I just received my Generac GP8000E portable generator a couple of days ago. I bought it for the sole purpose of having back-up power in case of a power outage. I asked our electricians at work which generator they would recommend and they both said this one at the same time. That tells me a lot. We have a Generac stand alone at work that powers our whole office and I feel that if they both recommended this model and brand, then it must be the one I'll be happy with. I'm almost hoping the power goes off this winter..... lol

Got this as 'insurance' against the increasing number of power outages. My electrician set up wiring for easy connection to my breaker box. It's really easy to roll around and use. It runs all the essential things (sump pump, furnace, refrigerator/freezer some lights, one burner on fridge, computer) - about 1/2 the house - plenty for an extended outage. I am almost looking forward to putting it through its paces during the next outage. Almost.

Product arrived on date as promised. Set up was pretty simple. Filling with oil was a little tricky, but not impossible. After filling with oil and gas pressed the electric start switch and it cranked right up. I'm having an electrician install the transfer switch in two days. He has the same generator and recommended the Generac brand, so that's what I went with. Seems like a well made product.

I bought my Generac RS8000E because a friend of mine said if you want a quality lasting Generator. Then Generac is the one you want. He said the quality goes in before the name goes on. I liked that, & I like the electric starter, large fuel capacity & long run time. At 8,000 watts It has more than enough wattage to run our home. It's easy to move around and it's nice to know it's there when I need it. Our power went off for 4 days this Aug 11th, 2020 from the big storm that went threw the Midwest. That's not going to happen to my family again. Thanks Roger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely pleased with this Generac generator. My husband and I had no problems whatsoever setting this up. It's actually not as loud as I suspected it would be, maybe about the same noise as a lawnmower. We were able to hook quite a bit with this (refrigerator, few lights, microwave,etc.) This will definitely come in handy this winter as we're in Western New York and get some pretty harsh weather and are constantly having the power out for long periods of time. Definitely a good investment and this generator is high quality and highly recommended!

Got the generator the eve of the 2015 blizzard. Setup was a snap and starting was even easier. This was a replacement for a older generator I had and between the two units genarac wins hands down, would recommend it to anyone even if your not handy with mechanical things. my grandma could put this together.

I looked extensively at generators prior to making my purchase and this one had more features and value for the price. Was very easy to set up and start up can be done by anyone. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for a portable generator.
