Over a month ago we were in the market for a new bed. We had gotten so many good reviews from friends and family on tempurpedic however, we got too nervous to make the leap and went with a pillow top innerspring instead. Boy were we unhappy with that choice. After only 2 nights on the mattress were back in the store to upgrade to a tempurpedic. Luckily they let us bypass the 30 day trial period and exchange early. Both my husband and I prefer softer mattresses. I am a side sleeper, he is stomach or back sleeper. We looked at the Luxe, and the Elite. Although I like really soft, I decided to go with the Elite instead of the super soft Luxe. BEST DECISION EVER. It is perfect and I do not have any hip or shoulder pain when side sleeping. Everyone at the store was trying to prepare me for when the mattress came, "it will take 60 days to break it in!" "It will be frozen solid (because of cold temperatures) so it will have to warm up!" "Give it time..." All it took was 3 nights!!!! On the third night I slept the entire night without waking up or even changing positions. I am a true believer in tempurpedic and am mad it took me this long to get one! All you need is to make sure you find the right one for you. I find the Elite to be very soft for my comfort, but in no way and I "sinking down" in the bed. We love it!

My wife loves the Cloud Elite, she no longer wakes up with back/hip pain. I also notice a difference but I don't pay attention as much. Buying online was easy and the delivery process was very convenient. I prefer it over buying in store. The adjustable base (head only) works well and is quiet. It may have served us better to have a split CA King since she likes it up and I keep my side down, but the one piece bed does its best to try to keep us both happy. WOULD BUY AGAIN, SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT SOONER!!!!

After 3 weeks of use, I can state I love the feel and absolutely convinced that Cloud Elite is the right level of softness. I am concerned with it holding heat. While it isn't an issue so much in fall temperatures, I believe it will be too uncomfortable in the summer. It is likely that I will look into exchanging for the Cloud Elite Breeze. I cannot speak to longevity.

I have had this bed for 5-6 weeks and was super-excited about it. Both my husband & I have since had significant back pain, etc. from it. We are far from over-weight individuals (130 lbs. & 160 lbs) and we sink into it so much that in order to roll over to turn off the alarm I have to roll up out of the "hole" I am in. My 75 lb. dog even had major problems getting out of the "hole" he is in when laying on the bed. This mattress has less support than our 10 year old pillow-top which is such a disappointment to me and is why we decided to "splurge" on a new mattress. Not sure what I am going to do about this. One of the more expensive purchasing mistakes I have made.

We have had our Tempurpedic Elite for 3 months now and it is definitely worth it. We chose the Elite based on reviews - did not want too soft (because of heat retention) or too hard (I like soft beds). We had to change out our satin (polyester) sheets for cotton because we got too hot the first night. If you like to cuddle with your loved one all night you may find this bed a little too warm but overall it is still worth it. My husband used to have major aches and pains in the morning and sometimes would have to crawl up the stairs when he first got up (our bedroom is in the basement). After 1 night of sleeping in the new bed he said he feels 1000 times better in the morning. (He still has aches and pains but nothing like before) Our only regret is we didn't buy it sooner!

Recently, we moved our mattress to another room. While moving it. The cover where the mattress comes in, ripped off from the handles and close to the zipper area of the cover. I contacted the warranty through email and they refused to fix the problem/replace the cover. It's very unfortunate when you spend big bucks on a mattress for them to say " this is your fault, we are not covering your claim". I had really high expectations for this mattress but it's unfortunate get this response from a high end brand. I own a Birch bed ,too. And they have been so great with making sure I am happy with my bed. They ever told me if I wasn't happy with anything they would replace my bed with no problem. But thankfully I haven't had problems with that one. Tempurpedic-- I will never buy anything fro you guys again due to your poor quality and service.

We've had our Tempur-Pedic Cloud Elite for about 3 months now and I would hate to sleep on anything else. The comport is amazing, I sleep through the night no problem. The only bad thing I can say is that it is SO comfortable that it actually makes it harder to get up in the morning!! lol

We thought our last Tempur couldn't possibly get better until we owned this one. So, here is why it is stellar after owning this for 3 years now... 1- Revived every morning 2- Promotes healing 3- Reduces / eliminates pain (especially back and hips) 4- Cool and cozy 5- Best bang for the buck (worth every nickel)

We have had this mattress for a couple of nights and so far it's awesome! Packaging was well done and arrived looking like it should. Initial impressions of the bed was wow this thing is tall! We have a platform bed and came from a sleep number ( don't waist your time) this mattress seems twice as thick. So if you have a platform bed make sure to get the 5" foundation. my wife has to jump in the bed. My tempurpedic rep is taking care of that for us with no questions asked. I want to discuss what everybody seems to say is negative about these beds. Yes its stiffer than the showroom mattress because its brand new but still sleeps awesome! Yes it smells but its not horrible and mine has already almost disappeared. We found the cloud elite to be just right between the supreme (too stiff) and luxe (too soft). By far the most comfortable bed I've ever laid on. If you are skeptical on spending the money on this bed don't be it is awesome. I only see the bed sleeping better as it breaks in but if anything changes i will update this review. Best investment Ive made. Oh and I sleep hot, very hot! and as long as the fan is on I'm fine with the temp of the bed.

This was a terrible terrible bed. It's just too soft and it slept hot. I find it hard to move in the bed. It's a shame the brand seems so good. Buyers please beware. Test it out for a while in the store. Make sure you lie on it for at least 20 minutes.
