We love Tempur pedic because of the comfort and never having issues with our backs hurting. The heat issue is still there for us even with a Breeze model.

I have fibromyalgia and am curvy. So I need a soft mattress to hug my curves and let me sink in a little more than even temeperpedic's softest bed. Love the pillow, and the sheets are of highest quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best sleep I've had in years. Firm but the memory foam conforms quickly to body shape and isn't excessively warm as with some foam mattresses.

My wife had back pain for the first 25 plus years of our marriage. We acquired the best Tempur-pedic available at the time approximately 8 years ago. After a few years I asked her if her back was better. She replied that she never even thought about it anymore as the pain was gone. I do not have back pain but I will say that this was the best money that I have spent. I do not even want to go on vacations anymore as I have to leave my bed. That is an exaggeration but is a consideration on length of stay.

Wanted to share after four years...I finally have come to terms my issues are my mattress and will be getting rid of our Tempur-pedic​ this week. I have tried everything from gel toppers to keep the mattress cool and from me running hot. I wake up at nights SLICK with sweat. I honestly thought I had early peri-menopause. My spouse and I thought our lower back pain were issues related to our inactivity - started working out, chiro's, massages....we were having better sleeps away on business. I slept somewhere else for a week because I had to and realized...I don't run hot, I woke up without the aches and pains like my organs were weighing down my spine as the pain was like I slept in a curve...it's the mattress, it's the mattress, it's the mattress. We realized today, our goal is to go out and buy another and finally get rid of this. We tried to justify this mattress for four years because we invested so much money in it. No more. We're out.

Over a month ago we were in the market for a new bed. We had gotten so many good reviews from friends and family on tempurpedic however, we got too nervous to make the leap and went with a pillow top innerspring instead. Boy were we unhappy with that choice. After only 2 nights on the mattress were back in the store to upgrade to a tempurpedic. Luckily they let us bypass the 30 day trial period and exchange early. Both my husband and I prefer softer mattresses. I am a side sleeper, he is stomach or back sleeper. We looked at the Luxe, and the Elite. Although I like really soft, I decided to go with the Elite instead of the super soft Luxe. BEST DECISION EVER. It is perfect and I do not have any hip or shoulder pain when side sleeping. Everyone at the store was trying to prepare me for when the mattress came, "it will take 60 days to break it in!" "It will be frozen solid (because of cold temperatures) so it will have to warm up!" "Give it time..." All it took was 3 nights!!!! On the third night I slept the entire night without waking up or even changing positions. I am a true believer in tempurpedic and am mad it took me this long to get one! All you need is to make sure you find the right one for you. I find the Elite to be very soft for my comfort, but in no way and I "sinking down" in the bed. We love it!

used to comforters under the sheet above the protector to help with the heat. Mattress itself was wore out in 2 years. I'm a disabled vet and the mattress started to make my back worse when it stopped cradling and became hard. Should have taken it back after the first night when it was to hot to sleep on. After adding the comforters I never had to cover up. Wish I had taken the mattress back. To much money for a mattress I made work because I heard so many good things about. Sleeping on old mattress now that cost far less.

After my wife and I had tried a companies' $4000 glorified air mattress, which we promptly returned, we went to a local Mattress Firm and chose the Cloud Elite over the Luxe. The Luxe was just a little too soft. First things we were told was it would take a few weeks to break in. I, a man weighing almost twice as much as my wife, had my side broken-in in no time. I slept on her side for a week, now we both sleep like the dead. Any review that complains about "off-gassing"...get over your first world problems. That is like saying I have the latest iPhone, which I HAD to have...now i just wish it had come with lasers...get over it. It will pass within 24hrs. This should not even be a credible factor in bed reviews. The topper is washable, delivery was a breeze and we couldn't be happier. I have not noticed any retained heat yet but summer will tell and if possible, I will try and update this. Accept no imitations. Tempurpedic is the only bed I will consider buying from now on.
