Excellent product
We bought two to enhance the enjoyment of a large patio. They are superb! Suggestion: When filling the base components with sand and water: i suggest filling each base component to about a third with water. Cut a Arizona Green Tea Gallon jug to form a large funnel. Use the funnel as the conduit to pour your "play sand" into the base components. We've had the umbrellas up in about a 15 MPH wind and they move but are very stable.

Exceeds our Expectations!
We bought this for our pool / patio area and were super impressed with the quality and the features. First of all it is nice and big. The shale color is easy to live with....kind of a grayish brown. It was very easy to get out of the box and assemble. We had it assembled in probably 10 minutes or less. We have not filled the base with sand or water as we intend to permanently bolt it to our patio. We love how you can tilt it and turn it in all directions, making it very flexible. And it even came with a cover which is wonderful since we live in the desert where everything gets dusty and dirty. The other feature that I really liked it that you can literally raise and lower it with one hand. We've only had this a couple of weeks but we couldn't be happier thus far.

once figured out great
This is big as in really big. Measure your deck make sure you are over 10x10 feet. You need to account for the large base. When you set this up the base needs to go in the middle of a side not the corner. When you open the umbrella be careful as the supports will get caught in the patio furniture. Once you have done the opening a few times it becomes an amazingly great addition to the deck.

Excellent Value
We bought two. The functionality is perfect as it tilts and rotates in every direction. 10x10 gives lots of shade. Filling the base is the only challenge. We used pea gravel instead of sand and RV antifreeze instead of water so we don't have to worry about freezing in the winter and you can fill it to the brim instead of leaving room for the water to expand when it freezes.

Need a lot of space
Five years ago we purchased a Sunbrella 11 foot cantilever umbrella. It has an octagon shape. We use it year round in Virginia. It is still in great shape. We wanted to purchase a second one but were unable to find the exact style. We elected to purchase the Sunbrella 10 foot square umbrella. When it is open it is a very nice umbrella. The trick is getting it open. There is one striking disadvantage to this umbrella. Unlike the 11 foot octagon umbrella with 5.5 feet long arms extending radially outward from the center, the 10 foot square umbrella has 7 feet arms. In order to open the umbrella we have to move 2 chairs that are near the umbrella to allow enough room for the 7 foot arms to go from vertical (in the closed position) to horizontal (in the open position). Once the umbrella is open we can move the furniture back under the umbrella. The base on the umbrella takes up a lot of deck space so I removed the base and bolted the bottom of the umbrella to my deck. It looks much better than that 4 square foot 4 section base. If you have a choice, buy the 11 foot octagon umbrella. You can thank me later/

Very large, heavy Umbrella. Lots of Shade
Bought this a few weeks ago. Fairly easy to assemble. Good quality and heavy, but the most difficult part is filling the sand in the base. You have a tiny hole to squeeze through 50lbs of sand per section. Took 4 times as long as assembly. We actually couldn't get the whole amount in. Otherwise, we love the umbrella.

Best Priced Sunbrella Cantilever Umbrella
Needed 2 of these for my pool area. Did a lot of research for cantilevered umbrellas made of Sunbrella material. This was the best priced one. Make sure you fill the base with sand and not just with water. It needs the weight of the sand (mixed with water) to hold it down when there is wind. If you just use water, it WILL tip over with the slightest breeze. To fill with sand, use a large bottle and cut off the bottom to use as a funnel. I used an empty plastic Sam's Club olive oil bottle and cut off the bottom. It worked perfectly as a funnel to get the sand into the holes in the 4 base units.

Excellent maneuverability and easy to adjust
I had been waiting to buy a cantilever umbrella for over a year, trying to find the best value I could. Eventually, I settled on this one. It has been a great addition to my patio. First, it's only a month old, but the umbrella is silent. Nothing rattles or creaks when the wind blows, even though the umbrella sways a little. Adjusting it is smooth and feels solid. The fabric feels like a cottony canvas, and I had expected something a little harsher based on the photos and description. Second, it's adjustable in so many ways. They really should post a video so you can see all of the adjusting it's capable of. The umbrella spins 360 degrees around its main pole (using the foot pedal). You can adjust the tilt of the umbrella by sliding it up and down along the pole (using the hand grip button). The umbrella even tilts side to side to some extent (using the long lever along the pole). It's explained in the manual, and easy to get the hang of. It doesn't require a much strength, either, which is surprising for how big these umbrella movements are. When opening/closing/rotating it at first, I was concerned that I was going to hit patio furniture or my house due to its size in my space. Filling the 4-piece base with sand was really the only difficult part. The holes where you put the sand in are face up when the base piece is at its widest, which makes it hard to fill it completely with sand. I get why they designed it this way; the piece balances better for filling and the plugged holes are not visible when the base is assembled. I just wish there was a better way. I had play sand, which admittedly isn't the best choice of sand for this kind of job, and went through four or five bags of it. Once filled, I feel like I can step on the base, but only briefly when really needed. The plastic does appear to give under my weight, and I think it will dent or perhaps even crack over time if human weight is on it for long periods. The light is pretty pointless. It takes four batteries and clips in to the center of the umbrella, but you have to remove it before you close the umbrella, and you have to close the umbrella when it's not in use. I don't think we'll get any use out of the light. I got this umbrella for blocking out the harsh sun, which means I'm not using it at the same time that a battery powered light is needed outdoors.

So easy to operate!
Once set up it is 5 star. However I gave 4 star due to the base set up. Fill holes needed to be larger to easily pour the sand into them. So far handles Gusty winds.

Poor design
I bought this less than a month ago. A week ago the plastic base that has to be filled with sand and water has expanded in the Texas heat and now does not interlock and allows the umbrella to wabble. One of the screws that holds the umbrella to the upright post has stripped out and now that part of the umbrella flaps in the wind.
