[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the way the Samsung WF50BG8300AV looks. The black with a touch of gold is perfect. What really matters is how it works. More controls than you will ever use. I love the settings and use the steam when I can. I also like that I can add rinse and presoak cycles. Very quiet, and does not shake a lot on spin like some do. I also like the app that tells you when the cycle has ended. I have washed some light sirs all the way to moving blankets, This unit just works. Clothing and blankets come out clean. What else could you want in a washer.

We ordered this washer to replace a 4-5 year old washer. I didn't think there'd be such a big difference, but I am so happy we upgraded. Not only does this washer look great in our home (our old one was all white and looked straight out of 1997), but it's noticeable quieter and still does a great job cleaning our clothes. It has a ton of cycles built in, and you can customize them with varying soil levels, water temps, and number of rinses. If you download the Samsung SmartThings app you can fine tune it even more. As I mentioned above, one of the biggest things we noticed was that this washer is markedly quieter than our last one. We no longer have to increase the volume if we're in the next room watching TV. You can still hear this washer working, but it's not nearly as loud as our old one. Finally, if you're looking for a wifi connected app, this one has it. Like I said, you can customize the cycle settings through the app, but the killer feature for me is the push notifications. You'll get a pop up on your phone when your cycle is done. The washer communicates over wifi and you don't have to be on the same network (you only have to connect directly to it once to set it up, after that you can do whatever). The notifications are actually a lot handier than I anticipated.

We got a great deal on this washer with the dryer, delivery and installation went well, and we are very happy. They look good, modern, can control with my phone, Amazon Alex let's us know when the wash is done, has option for very quick wash, and they work very well.

The drum is huge — I can throw in a bunch of towels or a big comforter with no problem. It cleans everything really well, even on the faster wash cycles. The Super Speed Wash is a lifesaver when I’m in a rush. And being able to control the washer from my phone with SmartThings is actually really useful. I can start loads from upstairs, check when it’s done, and it even tells me when I should run a self-clean cycle. It’s also really quiet — no crazy shaking or banging during the spin cycle like my last machine. Plus, it just looks nice. Sleek design, easy to use, and doesn’t take up too much space. Only small downside is there are a lot of settings, so it took a minute to get used to. But now I’ve saved a couple of presets and it’s super easy. If you do a lot of laundry and want something fast, smart, and big enough to handle it all — this washer’s worth it.

I have always had the smart top loader washers but after having four of them fail (2 LG and 2 Samsung) in 12 years, we thought we would try a front loader. My mom has had her Samsung front loader for about 10 years and has had no issues.

We had them installed, if you do the same make sure they remove the shipping bolts from the washer. If they are not removed the washer will shake uncontrollably, and start walking across the floor.

It is so quiet during the spin cycle I thought we installed a refrigerator. Pay no attention to the reviewers that tell you NOT to buy a Samsung. I almost listened to them and I would have been sorry I did. Great product for getting the basics of laundry done. There are the steam features I have not tried yet, so more to come. Looking forward to trying out the other settings.
