Although I love and trust the name, I wasn't overly impressed with the product when asked to consider it from the stance of a reviewer. Will it work as a satisfactory spread on your toast? Yes. Will it make it something to savor? No. It does the job without being an overachiever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought country crock for many years, it has always been my go to spread. This new country crock isn't as good as the old recipe. Its not too much different in recipes but as a spread not as good.

i can not stand the square tub. You think it saves space why yes but it is hard as heck to grab and carry it. The round tub is so much better. I miss the round. I have to convert the square tub over to a different container and I am not happy about that. Why must you change everything when it was not broken? I love the butter but I really, really, really, really hate the square tub !!!! Thank you I feel better now at least writing my opinion to you even though it does not matter.

Where can I get my money back? I have tried to eat this new recipe on several different things, and it just tastes bad. Country Crock is the only butter we buy, and this tastes like butter that has been sitting out open in the fridge for months soaking up all the smells around it. I want my old Country Crock back!

I received a voucher for this product complimentary from Influenster. I normally use stick butter but I was willing to try the tub of Original Country Crock. I love how smooth and easy it had spread onto my toast and worked very well in my daily cooking. I think I will try the lite version next!

I love the way it melts when you put on English muffins, it melts just perfectly into the little nooks and crannies. Country crock is a trusted brand, and has been for ages!

I love how easy the Original is to spread, and you don't have to take it out of the fridge and wait for it to thaw. What i dislike about it is that it tastes extremely fake to me. I'll use it in cakes and cookies and such but i wouldn't use it on toast.

It's literally the only butter I purchase and has been since the moment I moved out on my own and became responsible for purchasing my own groceries. Country Crock is just so insanely creamy and delicious and so easy to spread. I love it toast but it's great in any recipe or dish that calls for butter!
