[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is spread. That's what the package says. It doesn't say what kind of spread, that is left up to the customer to discover. It's made with real ingredients for a real taste. What taste? Again, that is up to the customer to discover. If one didn't know that this is known to be a butter or margarine substitute, you wouldn't know what kind of spread that this was. This is not butter. This is not margarine. It's oil. It's made with vegetable oil; it's a vegetable oil spread. Doesn't sound too appetizing, does it? No worries though, its texture is similar to butter, and it tastes similar to butter, but it's still not butter. This doesn't melt easily on hot food items like butter does, and it does have a strong salty flavor to it. The container is great and it stores nicely in my fridge.

This butter is smooth and easily spreadable, not breaking your bread like most brands. It melts at a great pace and has a light, non-oily taste. The only thing I wish was available was country crock with a touch of sea salt.

I love country crock. My family has been using it for years. It is great to cook in lots of items. My favorite is just letting it get warm a little and putting on top of an english muffin yummy or toast. It is easy to spread and easy to cook with. "I received a free product for my unbiased review.

And if your a toddler for eating straight out of the tub. Lol. It's the only tub butter we keep in out house.

It too hard to spread on bread, or to scoop for measuring or to stir while baking unless it's melted. Country crock is not only delicious, it is so much easier to use!

I've been eating country crock for as long as I can remember!!! I remember my grandmother using it a lot when I was younger so now I put it on mostly everything and love using it for baking! Same great buttery taste without the worry of it being bad for you. Tastes great spreads amazing!!

I am highly impressed that it contains no artificial flavors or preservatives. My family is currently cutting these types of items out of our diet and glad that we still have an option to enjoy in cooking. Can't wait to try it out it other recipes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This butter is the best butter I have bought. Growing up, this is the butter my mom would buy but moving out on my own I had to buy cheap butter. I switched back very quickly; it's just the best! I love that you can buy it in a big tub, because with my family we love to cook and bake with it so we need a lot. It's so easy to take out and very spreadable on bread and rolls and things alike. It's not too salty either so that's a big plus as well.
