I never buy anything buy country crock plus calcium. However my husband brought home a different type and I went on and used it (blue bonnets) it didn't have any flavor nor did my potatoes remain fluffy. It was a lesson learned for him.. we love the flavor of country crock and never ever again buy cheap butter

We used it just this week on baked potatoes, and it was great! I'm looking forward to using it to bake during the holidays and make cinnamon toast. I like the texture, and how smoothly it spreads. It also melts very easily and doesn't have the disgusting, plasticy taste of margarine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the Country Crock Original spread this weekend on all kinds of things. First, my two babies had hard boiled eggs warmed up and with a little Country Crock melted on them. They both smacked their lips and told me the eggs were delicious like that. I had one, too, and the Country Crock was smooth and creamy and didn't have any sort of chemical texture. Next, I used it to bake mango muffins with cinnamon and sugar topping. The muffins were delicious (see picture!), but I had a test batch made with butter to compare these too. I did notice a difference in the cinnamon/sugar topping when using butter versus Country Crock. I preferred the butter. I think the lesson I learned is this: for a quick smear of "butter" for toast or boiled eggs, Country Crock is so convenient and easy to use right out of the fridge. For baking, I think I'll stick with butter. I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my opinions.

I used it to whip up a yummy batch of cookies. I also like the fact that it's healthier than a lot of the other spreads out there!

I have been trying to eat healthy lately and have been really skipping on the butter and fats in recipes. So made a point to use Country Crock butter lately to do this review. I couldn't believe the difference it makes! It really adds another level of flavor to the food. I've tried it on toast and pancakes and it brought me back to my childhood when my mom would make rich buttery pancakes for breakfast for the family. I will continue to use this, I'll cut the calories and fat elsewhere ;)
