I thought I wouldn't like it upon trying it again, but I was happily mistaken. I've used it for baking cookies, cooking dinner down to simply spreading it on bread with dinner. I have been a strict butter user my entire adult life, so I was hesitant to use this. My kids and I used it to make cake mix cookies and they turned out fantastic! Very soft and yummy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so creamy, smooth and easily spreadable, I forgot how awesome country crock really is, we used some for our easter cookies and they turned out excellent. Eating healthier is hard enough sometimes having an alternative that actually tastes delicious and not like diet food is such a welcomed change, this is awesome on biscuits or toast, on veggies or anything that you would put butter on and bakes perfectly. I love the new size and shape of the new container too because it doesn't hog alot of space in the refrigerator, I am happy that I started buying this again everyone is loosing extra calories and fat and it's just perfect! I took out the Country Crock Original container and spread some on the raisin toast. YUM! It was delicious. It had a nice, fresh taste and was easy to spread. There was no after taste. Because I enjoyed the first slice so much, I went and toasted another slice. Wow, what a way to start my day!

My little one liked that he could "butter" his toast himself and that it was slightly sweet. It is easier to include it into things like mashed potatoes since it is so smooth. But now with their new simple recipe it still has exactly everything that you love about their butter and more: new simpler, real ingredients; same buttery rich taste; 50 calories per tbsp. I have always loved Country Crock for a buttery spread but would not have thought to use it for baking as well. I have a new favorite cookie recipe and can't wait to try more fillings combinations.
