I used Country Crock even before I was sent a free sample. I love to sauté my vegetables with it. I use it when I make a cake, even my icing.

Though County Crock Original spread does not compare closely to actual butter, it does seem superior to most other margarine spreads I have tried. I am impressed by the ingredient list, though it does list "natural flavors" which could mean just about anything. It's definitely creamy and spreads easily. I do not like margarine on my dinner bread, but the Country Crock Original spread tasted fine. I received this product free for review purposes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical to try Country Crock only because I am a serial buyer with products and once I find something I like I usually stick to it! When I first spread the butter onto my morning slice of toast it melted quickly and went on nice and smooth, didn't break the bread or anything. The butter melted after about 20 seconds and was ready to be tasted, delicious! Nice flavor, not too buttery or oily. This now will be added to my butter list!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up with my momma cooking using country crock butter, it's basically part of the family. This is my go to butter for everything. The taste is awesome and I wouldn't dare use any other butter to put on my toast.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this tasted as a spread! I put it on my bagel and couldn't tell the difference between this and actual butter. I can't wait to try it in my baking recipes and in my mashed potatoes!

And that's why I love it so much, it's tasty, affordable, spreadable and dairy free! I can use it in everything from a spread on toast to saute in and even bake with!

The spread has a nice buttery taste an is easy to spread on bread. It is a gluten free product which contains no artificial preservatives and at 50 calories per teaspoon this is awesome. The space saving design is great fits right on the door shelf in my  refrigerator. My mom liked Country Crock and I see why compared to other margerines this one is worth a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for testing purposes and I was so excited to get something that I can actually eat! When I first opened my original country crock I took a nice whiff of it and noticed how much it smelled like butter. That excited me because one reason why I dislike spreads that are like margarine is because I love and am so used to butter products that when I use products like this I only notice the oil flavors and scents. I did taste a little bit of it and was disappointed to see that it did taste more like the oily margarine types that I do not like. However, I did cook some veggies with it and it came out delicious! They tasted very light and I didnt feel like what I was eating was heavy as I do with butter and other margarine products. The product itself was so creamy which is great for mixing with other ingredients and not having to wait for it to soften. Overall, I like this product for cooking. I recently saw a picture of someone who spread this on their toast. That is not something I would enjoy, but I do recommend this product for cooking and baking.
