It spreads so easy and also melt easy. I cooked with it and baked with it also. I will say it does not taste like butter at all. It does have a great creamy texture in your mouth. It doesn't have an after taste at all. I do like it to cook with but to have bread and put this on it I didn't care for it very much that is why I gave 4 stars..

It too hard to spread on bread, or to scoop for measuring or to stir while baking unless it's melted. Country crock is not only delicious, it is so much easier to use!
