I did notice a more buttery flavor, but still could taste the margarine aspect that makes me wary of purchasing spreads. However, the product still tasted good and performed well in comparison to butter (e.g. during cooking). I like the shape of the container and it was very sturdy, including the lid, which is always a nice addition. Overall, this product was easy to spread, quick to use, and a good buttery spread to use instead of butter.

I made the make it yours cookies and the texture of the dough was a little sticky and thin, but the cookies ended up nice and soft.

Their original flavor butter tastes great when using it as a condiment on breads, or adding it as an ingredient to baking or cooking. I find when baking it melts a lot easier and whips a lot creamier than other types. I used the Country Crock Spread in my recipe for Rice Krispie Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sandwiches. The spread was easy to work with. It melted quickly in the microwave and the dessert turned out great! The Rice Krispie Bars were sweet and chewy like they are supposed to be. They were fun to make and we really liked the added cookie dough and the mini chocolate chips that were pressed around the edges of the ice cream.The spread is perfect for slathering on toast, grilled cheese, biscuits and rolls, and much more.
