There is 10% Benzoyl Peroxide in it, which helps to kill the bacteria that causes breakouts. It is a foaming wash and is great on my daughter's skin. My face felt tingly while the soap was on my face. When I rinsed it off my face felt clean, soft and tighter. My 16-year-old daughter has been using this foam cleanser for around 10 days. And she has seen a big difference. Some of her stubborn pimples are drying and clearing in a very effective manner. She usually rinses her face five minutes after washing her face for better results. And then she moisturizes her face because it feels dry. This cleanser comes as a foam but it seems more like a lotion. Its texture is somewhat runny to be cataloged as foam. Also, be careful while using colored towels because this cleanser can bleach them because of the peroxide. I recommend using a towel just for the face.

It suds up well, some acne face washes dont suds up, they ate just kinda slimy. Also, this dried my face out, but not to the extent I needed lotion, just that I was not oily or greasy at all.
