[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great coffe maker with many options and very intuative operation. One issue - I use a 20oz Yeti everyday and the single brew side will not brew directly into the yeti surprised I had to develope a work around for this shortcoming. Even with that I elected to keep the unit and have really enjoyed it.

We do love the coffee maker overall. But the design for the caraffe, putting in and taking out off the hot plate is very rough. It does not slide in and out well at all. The piece that allows you to pull caraffe out while brewing does not engage and disengage well at all. Also, the design of the lid on the caraffe is poor. The two small tabs the lock the lid in place break off easily and it is not user-friendly to put on and take off. It does make good coffee and the k-pod works very well.

We recently purchased the 2-in-1 Coffee Maker to transition away from our Keurig (but still have the ability to use our pods) and be able to make a pot of brewed coffee. We are very happy with it so far. We appreciate the ability to adjust brew strength and the carafe heating plate and the option of brewing iced coffee...a big plus!

I had this model replaced at least 4 times. Each time it was something different. One issue was the heating element another was it just stopped brewing. Previous to buying this I had a different coffee maker brand which lasted me over a decade( almost 20 years). I bought this because I have other cuisinart products that are quality products- but this machine is not.

This coffee maker is great. You can make hot coffee or iced coffee. You have the choice of making a single cup of coffee or a 12 cup carafe of hot coffee or iced coffee. It is very easy with this new coffee maker. A grande size Starbucks will fit perfect on the single cup size. I have not had any problem with the single cup side except once when I forgot to add water to the water container side. The machine can't make coffee without water. I have not had a problem with k cups exploding. I've used k cups for years. The carafe side was not so easy. I discovered making 12 cups of coffee using 12 measuring scoops of pre ground coffee didn't work well...the water backed up and overflowed the paper filter and the same problem happened when making 10 cups. If yu use the permanent filter it works a little better. But, I prefer paper filters. Do I got my coffee grinder and coffee beans and set the grinder on the highest setting for a medium grind and that worked great. The machine is very easy to use. It has three heat settings for the warming plate on the carafe side. I expect this machine to last me many years as have other Cuisinart coffee makers in the past. Read your manual thoroughly before using the coffee maker the first time.

The only complaint I have is that the opening on the left side is not high enough to allow my insulated tumblers to be used. (I often make iced tea with these tumblers which are 7" tall. They fit ok in the old Cuisinart. I have a few other tumblers that fit in if I remove the bottom pieces. These tumblers are 6.5" tall but smaller in diameter.)

Disappointed. Had been using the previous model for 3 years and decided to upgrade to this new model. Mainly use the pod feature. The ounce selection is NOT accurate. The 12 oz selection barely gives you a 10 ounce output. And I tested it using no pod so as not to account for water absorption in the grounds. When you brew a coffee in the 8 or 10 oz feature you barely get a half cup! Also, I use the latte pods which contain powdered flavor instead of grounds. The brew cycle does not fully dissolve the powder. This did NOT happen with the older model. Always got a full cup. Love Cuisinart products but very disappointed with this profuct.

Love the upgrades to this over the last model we had. The cup shelf is needed. We always had to put an upsdie down bowl under to old one. And the larger lip to catch the runoff on the back is awsome! We were tired of finding a puddle back there. Thansk for improving it!

We were very excited about this combined unit. It was replacing a 10+ year old Cuisinart that my wife took to work because it was still working. I am sad to say we have been extremely disappointed with the Pod side of the unit. It has blown out so many Pods that we only use the refillable Pod. I have not figured out why it is doing this.

The coffee maker is good. It makes a great cup of hot coffee. Single cup is quick too. This model's height is a little shorter than the previous model I had so I can have it under my cabinet/shelf without having to pull it out from underneath the cabinet. The reservoir is on the back right side; my previous model was on the left. Right-handed people found pouring on the left side was awkward and messy.
