[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my first experience with this coffee maker. For reference, I’m a coffee fanatic and I drink my coffee black. I purchased this exact model awhile back for the benefit of the 2-1 so on occasion I could brew a k-cup. I returned the machine within 3 hours. When I was selected to test the machine, I was hopeful that improvements had been made. Much to my delight, it appears they have. With the machine I purchased I could not get the pod side to work. Assembly is rather easy and I ran the two preliminary brews as outlined in the manual. Both were easy to perform. I’m happy to report both the carafe and pod sides are functioning. Upon completion I brewed a pot of coffee on the bold setting. I did not experience water spatter the way I did with the initial unit. The design is attractive but I do find filling the reservoir slightly awkward but that is because I am used to my Ninja and the removable reservoir. Overall, I am pleased!

I love this coffeemaker! I bought the black one, it's worth it. This one does it all- I have the choice of anywhere from 4 to 12 ounces, I just turn the dial. This is a huge improvement from the earlier model. The buttons and programming capabilities are very user friendly and set up quite nicely, leaving no question. There is a stand for the shorter cups (minimizing the splashes) or you can remove the bottom section for a larger thermo mug. The water receptacle is removable, making filling it very very easy. I also love the accessory for using your own coffee in the single serve usage - this works well and has its own filter basket making it very easy to clean out! You will love this coffee " center" and will love the choices you have when using it!

It's extremely easy to use and setup as well which is always a plus. I also think this is the fastest coffeemaker I've owned as well, perfect for my busy mornings!

Pouring hot coffee over ice for iced coffee is a makeshift but serves the purpose. The water reservoir is ample, with easy detachment making refilling so easy. The modern display is nice. I have three little kids and am constantly lacking sleep. The machine is so intuitive. I took it out of the box, set the filters up and did the initially cleaning all within less than 20! minutes. The process of making coffee is super easy. You can customize how strong and how hot you want it to be for the carafe side. The single serve is a life saver, not only can I make myself a cup of coffee within less than 2 minutes - I can also serve my husband an iced coffee in the same time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for about a month and I am happy so far. The carafe is big if we need to make a lot of coffee. But having the option of making one cup only is great, that is the side we use most. The built in filters that comes with each side saves me money from not needing to buy filters and I get to use the same coffee for both sides. No need to buy individual pods, which can add up $$. The water reservoir holds enough for multiple cups and is easy to detach so you can fill it. The instructions are easy to read. The display is very nice and modern. It makes hot and cold coffee and we use both options. The one thing I did not account for is the height of the machine. My cabinet on top does not allow me to fully open the lid on the right side. The machine is too tall and I do not have enough space between the top and bottom cabinets. That was my fault though, as I should have measured.
