Two, yes two methods of making coffee. Brews much hotter than my older 2.0 Pod coffee maker! I visited my son and daughter-in-law and they had the same model Cuisinart coffee maker. They grind their own Colombian Dark Roast beans. My gosh, I had to have one for my own. Competes with Green barista coffee company tasting coffee!

I had a Hamilton Beach combo K-cup, carafe coffee maker and it made a mess with each K Cup and took forever to brew. My new Cuisinart combo coffee maker solved my problem of messes and is super fast. I love how hot the coffee in the carafe stays and the whole unit is smaller than my other one. It was a great purchase for me!

I love this coffee maker. First, we have black stainless steel appliances in our kitchen. It is difficult to find kitchen appliances that match, and this black stainless steel Cuisinart Duo Coffee maker is a perfect match. I have had a few Kuerig coffee makers over the past few years, 2 of which have since broken. I don’t expect an appliance to last forever, but when 2 of these quit working, I decided to search for something else. That is when I came across this Cuisinart coffee maker. The coffee maker comes with 2 types of brewing choices in a single unit. There is a traditional brewing side, with a 12 cup carafe for making larger quantities of coffee, and a pod side for single serve coffee. Each side has its own water dispenser, which I like. For the brewing side, you place the amount of water for how many cups you would like to brew into the water reservoir and it will brew exactly that amount. Each side also contains a holder to place a charcoal filter in to purify the water. Two filters are included with the coffee maker when you purchase it. There are several features on this maker that I absolutely love. The brewing side can be set to automatic brew, so you can have a pot of coffee waiting for you at whatever time of day you choose. It comes with a mesh perma-filter, or you can choose to use disposable paper filters instead. It also features (and this is my very favorite), a “bold” button for brewing extra strong coffee. You can also choose to brew your coffee over ice, to make a delicious cold drink. With the first cup of coffee I made with this machine, I used the pod side, and it was one of the best cups of coffee I have had in years. Of course, I set the timer for the brewing side for the next morning, so I could check it out. It surpassed my expectations. The coffee maker was quiet, so I was not even sure it had made the coffee, until the exquisite aroma reached the bedroom. I was in coffee paradise. The pod side also has some excellent features. The coffee maker can accommodate several sizes of cups and travel mugs. For single cups or small travel mugs, there is a flip down cup holder that fits the short sizes perfectly. For an average tumbler, you just put your tumbler on the bottom base to brew. For tall travel mugs, the bottom tray lid can be removed to fit the larger tumblers. You can select 4,6,8,10, or 12 oz. brewing capacities. This is a great, versatile feature. The single serve water reservoir holds up to 42 oz. of water and has a convenient handle to allow easy removal/replacement. This coffee maker is sleek, compact, lightweight, extremely functional, and brews excellent coffee. I could not ask for more. It has features I did not even know I wanted until I had them. I am so very happy with my coffee maker, I have already recommended it to a friend.

We previously had a Cuisinart coffeemaker with the built-in coffee grinder. It worked great until it started to leak. We saw the reviews for the SS-16, 2-in-1 model because we also had an Keurig that was taking up counter space and thought the 2-in-1 configuration would fit our needs better. Just in case, we also ordered an operator Keurig, but it arrived a couple of days later and we returned it. The reviews we read before we bought we not very flattering, but our Cuisinart is working perfectly. We have only had it for about a month. Based on our experience with it so far, I would probably update my rating to 5 stars.

We received this as a Christmas present and so far are really enjoying it. We love the versatility of being able to do individual servings of coffee, hot cocoa, or tea easily and that you can have different brew sizes (4,6, 8, or 10 ounces) AND that you can also brew a full pot with up to 12 cups if younhave a crowd...not to mention the flavor of the coffee seems enhanced. Perhaps because of the internal filtration. We have not tried the iced coffee options yet but are loving it so far!

Coffee center works well and we like the option of single serving and pot size. The tall size makes it difficult to make a pot if you keep it under the cabinet. You can remove the single side water reservoir to fill but have to pull the whole unit to raise the lid and fill the pot side due to separate water reservoirs. Overall it works great.

Really like this dual brew coffee maker. It is great having the flexibility of n my along a pot of coffee verses one cup for someone who needs decaf coffee. Very attractive machine as well. We did have a little trouble at first getting it to start brewing. If there isn’t enough water in the Keurig side, it won’t start.

We like cuisinart products; we have a lot of them. For years we had a coffee maker for ground coffee and eventually bought a separate machine for single brew pods. To save counter space, we bought a machine that does both and are pretty happy with it. There is a problem with the water filters in the reservoirs; they are held in place by friction in the plastic between the filter holder and the place at the bottom of the reservoir that holds the filter in place, That isn't much friction and the filter holder comes loose very easily. Otherwise, a good, cinvenient machine.

Hands-down, the best coffee pot in the world I have been buying this brand for so many years. I gift them as well. You have the best of both worlds. A regular coffee maker and a K cup. Other brands typically break or don’t last This one exceeds all expectations and then some Keep up the good work and thank you for a great product
