Love it, I had to request parts, no issues getting them. They send them out quickly.

We desperately needed to add shade to our backyard ahead of what we expect will be a very hot summer. I opted for the shade sail pergola instead of a full pergola because I want to be able to remove the shade sail in the winter to get as much sun as possible. Bonus - it's cheaper and quite simple to put together! The actual structure was - dare I say - easy to put together with two people. I did the parts inventory, reviewed directions, and would collect the necessary tools and fasteners for each step of the project, then hand over to my husband to assemble. Rinse and repeat. The only challenges we had were related to our non-traditional choice of installation method (using deck foot anchors from DecksGo - I suppose outing myself might void the warranty but it was the best choice for us). It just required us to make a few adjustments on the fly. We haven't been able to use it yet as it rained for 3 days since we installed, but very much looking forward to it. We will eventually build out a more proper patio but this allowed us to get it in the ground and then we can do the rest of the work under the shade. Highly recommend this as an affordable and easy solution to adding shade.

We ordered the pergola for over the dining area of our patio. It fits perfectly over my 8 seat dining table. I couldn’t be happier! It took us about 1-1/2 to put together. It was easy to put together and just needed two sets of hands to get it standing. The quality is really nice. It is solid, sturdy and the wood tone looks great with teak, aged teak and my white and black home. I am happy with the cost for such a quality piece!

This has been the best addition to our backyard. It’s sturdy, looks great, and we spend so much more time outside because of our pergola! The sun shade keeps it comfortable and cool, and we love the ambience of having bistro lights hung up inside of it. It’s been our favorite spot so far this spring, and we are looking forward lots of summer days and nights on our patio!

I bought this when it was on sale for 699 with free delivery. It's nice, but I just don't know it's worth the price. It is exactly as described though, so if it sounds good to you then go for it! It was much easier to put together than the instructions made it seem - 90% of all holes are predrilled FYI. Good quality, holds up fine to FL panhandle weather (April through June so far, so tons of rain and wind). I will say, if you're more of a handy/DIY person than me, you can probably make your own kit for cheaper. However if you don't want to deal with the hassle of planning, buying, and prep, then this is a great option! Sturdy, professional appearance, and great price in comparison to other options from REPUTABLE brands (don't even bother with those super cheap, no name brands - there's a reason they're so cheap). All this to say - it's not a scam, not crap quality, and the brand's direct customer support is top notch (even at midnight lol)

It's a little more expensive than a standard pop-up canopy, so time will tell how well it holds up long-term. My main issue is with the tarp cover. It's supposed to be removed when it rains, which will make this a chore many days of the spring and summer months. Even light rain can cause it to sag in the middle. The cover is fairly quick to take off, but putting it back on is frustrating. The straps do not have much slack, so you have to pull very hard to get them through the buckles. You also have to be careful not to tighten one side too much too early, because that takes away slack from the remaining straps. Assembly was also made harder by how hot the metal hardware gets. The bolts, nuts, brackets, and other metal pieces became extremely hot to the touch with even a little warm sunshine (like 75f and partially sunny), so you have to be careful during assembly and when taking the tarp on or off. I had other metal tools and hardware outside and they did not get hot so it is some type of chemical or fusion that must be part of their custom hardware that gets hot just from being warm outside. Many parts were just as hot but they were enclosed in a box in the shade. I would have preferred a rolling or retractable top cover instead of a removable tarp. That said, once it is up, the shade is decent and definitely better than a pergola with only wood slats providing partial shade.
