If you put it in your mouth, it starts to burn and I do not enjoy that, especially when there isn't a beverage around. It's freshens your breath good but I didn't dissolve it all the way and my tongue is now numb.

when i run out of gum its the first thing i go too. its in my backpack, purse and even fits in my wallet its great for hot breath that you get after eating. it helps a lot. love these
