Good for the children

First of all, these ARE my FAVORITE Powdered Donuts, they're so good if you can get them fresh, and dry. I understand that this must sound odd, why would anyone want dry Donuts? Well, because I've had these from the actual Club, and they're perfect every time, so I ordered 3 big boxes online, because I have very serious health issues right now that I'm dealing with, and I live a two hour trip from any Club in my area. The first 3 boxes arrived and in ALL 3 boxes the Donuts were wet, like when something is frozen and then thaws, but the condensation can't escape the wrappers, so it melts the Powdered Sugar and makes the Donuts completely soggy! So I called Customer Service, and she offered to send me 3 replacement boxes, and I asked her to please contact them to check the inventory, so that they didn't send more wet Donuts, because I cannot be the ONLY person who thought this was gross. You can't eat them without gagging, they're garbage. But the C/S agent informed me that she only had the option to say the items were damaged. So I received my replacement order, and yes, 3 more WET boxes of Donuts!! Unbelievable. I just gave up at this point and didn't call again, because it's evidently the entire Powdered Donut Inventory that's affected. I ended up ordering my Grandkids cereal from Sam's to replace the Donuts that I planned to send with them, so I still gave Sam's my business, but I am not happy about this issue at all. Better communication between customer service and the warehouse in Grand Island to actually solve the problem would have been most helpful. Aye yi yi.:(

Very good

The last time I purchased these they were two weeks before (July 2020) the expiration date. They were disgusting and tasted like gasoline. I threw them out. If I were to purchase in the store, I would NEVER but anything like this so close to the expiration date.

Sams does not list the Duchess Chocolate Donuts on their website so I have to write this review for the Chocolate ones here. They are delicious. They are a very good size, they do not taste like that cheap waxy chocolate that leaves a film on your tongue, and they are a great price at less than .60 cents per package!! I was pleasantly surprised at the value and the quality!
