So far we haven't had to recharge it, but it can be done right from a laptop with included power cable. It's small enough to take on bicycle rides and we're getting a second one to keep in the car.

It’s convenient that this small device has the built-in air pressure gage to your liking. It is great that it shuts off when it reaches the “right” level. It has a rechargeable battery so it it’s important to fully charge before you leave if you take along to wherever you leave home. It is too heavy (1 lb 3oz) for my husband to take along when he rides outside on his road bike but he’ll be using it often to make sure his bike has enough air pressure on his tires. Also this is a great thing to take along on a roadtrip. I highly recommend this air pump for anyone who is looking for an upgrade from a manual one.

This is a nice minimal design. Portable and easy to store. Keep it charged. This would be a great git. A separate, smaller bag to hold the accessories would be good to add.

If you are on the fence about purchasing one of these, go for it. Nowadays you have to pay for air anywhere you go. Makes sense to keep this little gadget in your car and have it when needed, on the spot. I love it. I air my mother's tires up with it and saved her having to go and pay for it somewhere.
