This flashlight is super bright at 1700 lumens when using the rechargable battery. But only 1000 lumens when using alkaline batteries. You can recharge the battery while it is in the flashlight. Simply slide down the black ring which is just below the on/off button to expose the charging port. There is a charging icon on the side of the flashlight to remind you that the charge port is hidden under the slider ring. The slider ring keeps durt out of the charge port when it is not in use. Neat idea.

This set is awesome! The lights are super bright and I like that there are 3: one for the house, car, camping. The dual power option is really convenient. I can charge them when not is use but also can use batteries when needed for camping or if the power is out for a time (which happens once in a while here). But even so, it lasts a long time between charges.

To be honest, not a bad flashlight for the price. It's a nice convenience to have rechargeable system that comes with the kit,however, it does not appear to be anywhere close to 1700 lumens. Additionally, the capability to zoom in the light is limited. Not a bad purchase, but don't look for a super high beam flashlight in this kit.

These are great little flashlights. they are bright. the beam isn't extremely tight but not a game changer. A 3 pack cost 27 bucks. Less than 10 bucks a light. Being rechargeable is awesome. Haven't tried these with the supplied batteries yet but didn't want a flashlight i had to keep buying batteries for. People that claim they don't work or only 1 out of the 3 work should learn to read. they come locked. If you hold the power button down for a couple seconds, the light flashes and then works as designed. I kept 1 and gave 2 away as gifts. Its 10 dollars people. if you want something that will shine up to a mile and catch paper on fire, go spend 100-200 dollars. We use this light to keep an eye on the dog when we let her out at night and in case of emergencies when the power goes out. Works as they should and on flood mode, will light up an entire room. I would definitely buy these again and might just go get another 3 pack before they are gone or the price goes up to give away. Everyine needs a solid light for power outages. These are great.

Love the power that they give when they work. Just bought a new pack of these only to open them, fully charge them, and then have zero of them work. It's definitely a problem that they've had with these newly designed packs and needs to be addressed.
